Why Doesnt Google Shopping Return Any Results on Vitamins or Supplements in the US?!?

See, you thought I'm just crazy. The FDA under Obamacare is making it necessary to get a dr. prescription for Vitaim C. You know, Vitamin C cures the flu. I guess you'll just have to get one of those flu vaccines.

People just don't realize what is COMING!

I managed to go shopping to Walgreens in the states through google. But I am in Germany.

I googled one-a-day and hit shopping. This is what I got.

I'm looking at other gov sites to see if there is anything on this.

When in the states, I shop at GNC alot. This is downright insane!

So...use Amazon.

This completely blows my mind.

There is almost NOTHING out there explaining this, other than what I have posted above thus far.

Availability, at this point, isn't really the point, now is it?

If the government (assuming that is the genesis of this) can influence commercial search engines in this manner, I think that is something worth taking very serious note of, don't you?

Why do you assume the government is the source? Google is not the only commercial search engine, right?

The assumption derives from the article that alleges as much. I did not say I was convinced by it.

Moreover, I am equally aware there are other commercial search engines. But I think Google's relevance is somewhat on a different plane than it's competitors.

As a consumer of its services, I would like to know why?

That has specific relevance to my decisions and how I wish to make them in the future.

Moreover, if this policy is in fact a matter of government influence, I'd like to know and understand that too.

That has a different relevance of perhaps greater importance.

As someone with direct experience running several businesses in a heavily regulated industry, I can promise you the government's enforcement or influence over ANYTHING is anything but uniform or equitable.

We've established that you can't use google. But could you still visit say GNC or Walgreens or the shop you usually go to and buy direct from them?

Is it just google or have they imposed a ban on each separate entity?
