Tourist Slave Wages taking Aussie Jobs

My brother in law last week worked approx 50 hours last week as a hardworking early to rise late to
sleep Taxi Driver on the Gold Coast of Australia... he Grossed $ 480.00.
He receives no holiday or sick pay or super, approx four years or so ago a rally was held on the Gold coast in which my Brother in Law and his son attended, it was a rally against the deal described above.

The vocal leader of this rally a war veteran was railroaded out of the industry I was told.
Within a few months of the rally approx 200 indian citizens were imported into Australia and put to work in the extra Taxis the government put on the road after this rally.
No one dares complain anymore.

Yet speaking out about this somehow makes you and me a Racist?

Flash forward to 2012 and inflation has skyrocketed, but wages for so called "Unskilled Labour" has gone backwards.

I think it's because immgrants from Third World Countries are willing to work for peanuts. Backpackers are willing to work for Peanuts - and Capitalism thrives on Slavery.

This is not a dig at these people, it's a dig at the Greedy Corporations who will "Work the Willing Horse".

I would like to see a source for this, some proof perhaps?

Middle of Sydney City, its never totally safe in a big city - but it also comes down to how you carry yourself and street smarts as well. I have never felt unsafe walking any street in Sydney or greater Sydney metro.

Are you scared to walk the streets in Cronulla?

I don't think it is racism in any form and I don't understand where you think I might.. All the world over this occurring not just in Australia... what do you think the never ending supply of Mexican labor has done tot he US working people? ... no meaningful wage increases in 30 years.....

That’s the point, single out and blame world governments and the corporations that feed them– not the people!

As soon as you start blaming a race, or not wanting a certain race of people to enter your country for whatever reason, then its racism and that has been apparent by many throughout this thread.

It’s not their fault that they are willing to work for less; or come from a war-torn nation; they just want to work to support themselves and their families like everyone else and have freedom.

If wages go down, then the cost to live should also go down – it has not reached that point yet, because they are still in the phase of sucking us dry.

Once people are so poor (even more than now) and its unaffordable to purchase a loaf of bread, then you will either have a across the board drop in costs, or civil unrest, or worse depopulation and the NWO if you want to go that far in this line of thinking…..

Entertain this idea for a moment. If you put four people of a number of races, and say make it three males and one female from each race on an island with limited resources, what would be the outcome ( would innate racism kick in?) I know this is off topic but just interested?

Racism would only take rise if the 3 men wanted to attract the female; racism is a way of belittling another for whatever chosen reason.

A question for you, if the 3 men were gay – what would be the outcome? Would racism show its ugly face, or would the island just be ‘fabulous’?

If the men were straight and the woman said that each man could have her equally – would racism be shown or would they live in harmony?

To close; with limited resources, the only outcome would be survival of the fittest – it would not come down to race or sex.

What are your thoughts?

Opps, its not often that I misread a post, my apologies, I blame my flu.

Just so I don't get it wrong again, suggest the ethic groups, I would not wish to hinder the question by choosing unique or small groups.

Also, even though I read the question incorrectly, can you see what I'm getting at?

Racism only sprouts from some need as an animal to believe that we are superior in some way to another or to conquer and / or survive. It can also come from religion, we see that today, its also inbred from the last 2 world wars..... and the continuing wars (always wars) and also, racism is caused by being uneducated about different cultures and belief’s, some people are scared of what they don't understand.

Even though a different culture may seem barbaric or ancient in its thinking (same could be said about religion) to some, to understand and educate them over time 'leading by example' is better than killing them, taking their land or just letting them die which is the current SOP for the US and Australia..... which creates more racism and hatred.... it does not cure the problem.

I truly believe that religion and racism may be the reason why our species won't survive (more than a cataclysm) I do remain hopeful that one day people will just stop hating each other and work towards a common goal like getting off this rock. If we did not have religion and war, we would be amongst the stars by now, but yet, we spend the money on killing.....

I have never understood why some people think someone is 'inferior' to another because of the colour of there skin..... never been able to work that out? Unless the colour of skin for them only means where they came from, place / race association....or something like that......

Another off topic Mick. I was driving to work about four months ago, around 6.15 am making my way around the back of the golf course, I looked to the sky and saw an amazing bright, yet crumbling light, in the bright dawn sky. I instantly thought plane crash! But as quickly as it appeared it disintegrated. When I got to work in Taren Point I googled and came up with nothing? Just thought I could share.
