What is that? Sure looks like something unearthed by big machinery ... you can see the scrape marks along the "wall." Also looks like a small pyramid right in the center of the circle-X

Not sure that this site is secret, maybe just not popular/well known. I'm going to try and find out more about this...interesting find!

It's a military bombing practice site in the desert. Isn't this obvious?

OK, maybe. But where are the bomb craters? I see what could be a few. Seems like if they took the time to build such huge target field they would have used it ... unless they drop dummy bombs, I have zero knowledge of how this sort of bombing practice would be performed.

Just to add a note to Harte excellent information on the Egyptian writing found in the Khufu's tomb

There are three locations of ochre writing on or in the Great pyramid

1. Goyon and Ginsells builders mark
2. The extensive 'field' of graffiti in the relieving structure at various points, one misrepresentation often done by fringe writers is to try to make a reader believe there are only a few - there are quite a few actually
3. The newly found marks in the shafts

Yes, new pyramids are found time and again, but smaller ones.
Outside Egypt, in the Americas, I would avoid the word "pyramid" since the way of construction is too different.
Wouldn't it a better idea to give each culture its own word for their buildings?
