Are there any more absurd and ridiculous debunk excuses that I've missed so far? If anyone else can think of more please post it and I'll update the list.

Chinese lanterns (can't believe you missed this one!)
Swamp gas (or this one!)
plastic bag
A hat
CG
Rockets
Planes


But I'm not saying some "sightings" aren't those things. CG for example is very prevalent but people jump to that conclusion too easily.

The CGI debunk phenomena is one that I usually see used the most on this forum.

The OP is trying to suggest that the commonly misidentified objects like Chinese lanterns and RC aircraft are just

ridiculous debunk excuses

as they all must be visiting alien space craft.

No I don't. I just think it's ridiculous that EVERY single sighting is always "debunked" by one of the excuses on that list, it's like some people can't entertain for even a moment that "hey, that's something extraordinary, maybe it can't be explained away by the stereotypical debunk lines", it's always gotta fit in some mundane category. I personally think its ridiculous and worthy of mockery. We know there's something more to this phenomena, were not stupid.

Why are people so upset about UFO debunking/debunkers

If they weren't there, we would all be like Human Alien

Many of these supposed 'commonly used excuses' are never actually given as a plausible explanation. Maybe they have been used in the past, but being used in the past, is not the same as being 'common'.

A majority of the time that we see many of these excuses, is when a blind believer is trying to discredit a debunking, long before anyone has even made an attempt at providing an actual logical explanation.

The phrases are regurgitated over and over, as a failed attempt at painting every possible explanation as being ridiculous nonsense.

When something comes up that is definitely not any of the things you have listed then everyone will be very happy. It just that a lot of people want to see alien space craft sooo much they dont discount the obvious first.

i believe that OP is stating that all U.F.O.'s are not just "swamp gas" or some other excuse used to cover up the fact that they don't know what it really is.

it isn't swamp gas, its literally "an unidentified flying object"

people rather say " NO its swamp gas " for example, than admit that its something they don't know.

aliens were not mentioned.

Just when was the last time you EVER saw anyone seriously put forward the explanation of swap gas for a UFO sighting.
