Iran nuclear energy facility hit with malware that plays AC/DC at full volume!

news.yahoo.com

Malware can be a major pain for anyone with a computer or mobile device, as it can lead to security risks like identity theft. But when a virus targets a nuclear facility, the stakes are much much higher. According to a report on security site F-Secure, Iran's nuclear energy group — called the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, or AEOI for short — is reaching out for help to rid its system of a malicious program that not only threatens the facility's daily operations, but also plays a 90s rock anthem on the infected computers.

They are getting a constant stream of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" at full volume....I'm sorry but that s*** is hilarious.

Hackers unite....Now we need to get "Part in the CIA" from "Weird" Al to play on the CIA's homepage.

I can think of a few other songs I'd play however, for both locations. lol

Considering the music most Iranians listen to, this is an improvement in music selection......

Well they say its better to ask forgiveness than permission right?

I mean if I was in charge, I might have a hard time disciplining someone for doing it...

That is hilarious. Makes me wonder what kind of sound systems are connected to these computers in a nuclear facility though.

I would have to say that, considering Iran's hate of western culture....I would've chosen "Rock n' roll ain't noise pollution" by the same group.

Teach em' that music isn't evil.

Would've been a truly viscous virus if it played Beiber or Gaga instead!

I imagine they are hearing the same things from their leaders I used to get from my parents constantly.

"Someone turn off that devil's music!!!"

Yeah if I was that guy's manager, a big part of me would want to give that guy a bonus. If he got fired for it, it'd be fun explaining why to his next boss

Bunch of trolls.. but anyway, this is some psychological warfare, probably a culture shock in some cases i'd imagine. I wonder why ACDC though, there is actual terrible music out there. Is it because ACDC is proven to be the loudest or something? Kind of insulting to ACDC fans, your music is used for degrading the enemy's psyche..lol

For some reason, I too had a vision on Iron Man crashing through the skylight.

That's pretty funny. For some reason middle eastern people hate rock and roll for the most part. We used to blast AC/DC through the phsyops vehicles at night to harass the jihadist's in Fallujah. Worked very well most nights if I recall.

I for one don't like the idea of malware targeting nuclear facility computer... you never know what kind of mess these virus can do critical system. A nuclear accident is a real possibility.
