minor point...

wild animals do not only kill for food. They have been documented as killing for sport...

I saw another article discussing this topic that had some more info. The lady was apparently being fought over by 2 Taliban commanders so to save face for themselves they accused her of adultry, tried, convicted and then executed her.

Those 2 Taliban Commanders were then executed by ther Taliban Commander.

This at least provides some comfort knowing that taliban commanders also see the execution as barbaric and responded the correct way.

minor point...

Wolves, like all wild carnivores, do not kill for sport. They kill to sustain themselves. Though it is uncommon, “surplus killing” (killing more prey animals than can be immediately consumed) has been observed in many predator species. If given the opportunity to secure future meals, many animals will sometimes do so. It is a survival mechanism. It is this survival tactic that has led to the misplaced notion of “sport killing” arises. It has nothing to do with sport. Only people kill for sport.

Wild cats do so. Foxes do so. Killer Whales do so. Dogs do it.

Killing for the hell of it is not limited to humans.

Look on the bright side, that is one less person there that will reproduce.
