yeah, we had an experimental election "game" type thing and we're wrapping up now.... it was GREAT!!!

Neno won, I came in second and everybody did a great job!

Unfortunately, this thread wraps up on Wednesday, just tying up our loose ends I guess.

I'm inving the folks that want to "stay in touch" to join a new thread, not related to the election at all and hopefully with a good, subdued theme to it called "Just sittin in the shade" and bringing back the memories of yesteryear

It's actually picking up pretty quickly, didn't really expect that, but I guess folks like to be nostalgic. It's just a nice, positive thread (I hope)

The crown was my idea - I demanded a tinfoil crown from the inception. Can't have aliens stealing my thoughts and selling them to the highest bidding opponent - that would give our opponents an unfair advantage!

The robe and medallion were Boy in a Dress's idea. I sort of like it, after having had it grow on me. it makes it hard to dig out a chaw of tobacco or a compass or pocket knife from my pocket, but it doubles as a blanket at nap time, and lord know us old folks need out nap time to keep from getting cranky(er).

We're sort of like kids like that!

So you see, it's all functional, not frivolous!

I propose creating a term for fear of Regency to be "nenophobia", a type of "nenosis".

I have no doubt that it will find it's way into the DSM-4 by this time next year.
