All of you celebrating your “victory” might want to tone it down. It appears we will see this unconstitutional law easily dismantled very soon should republicans win the white house and pick up a few senate seats. Based on the outrage this issue is creating and the fact that Obama is making this the central issue of his campaign, I don’t see republicans having a problem gaining seats in November.

The next election will decide the outcome and the bar has been lowered.

The Obama admin said it wasn't a tax it's a penalty. Scotus says it's a tax. In effect, Roberts said it is a tax to make it Constitutional so he won't have to deal with the most Marxist socialist radical administration in American history giving him a hard time and calling SCOTUS partisan, that is, he did it to "protect the integrity of the Supreme Court".

Obama has said a lot of things... mostly lies. Why stop now? If it is declared a 'tax', it can be defeated by Congress. We can only hope and pray that those that 'represent' us will now do the right thing!

SCOTUS had to rule it was Constitutional.

Otherwise they weren't getting paid. With the Federal Debt limit about reached again...the only way SCOTUS can continue getting paychecks was to rule the new Tax....Constitutional.

I won't say it CAUSED the economic slump, but parts of it HAVE been implemented. It surely hasn't helped!

It’s unconstitutional if it’s a mandate to buy a product or service – it’s not unconstitutional if it’s a tax because the constitution permits the government to tax.

The mandate would force us to pay $2,000 for coverage if we don’t have our own insurance…..now we will be forced to pay a $2,000 tax if we don’t have insurance and the coverage would be included! What’s the difference?

And if you look back I said it was “partly” to blame. It’s also kept businesses from expanding and spending capital because they are unsure of the exact costs associated with this program which has surely slowed recovery and kept us in a slump.

A “death panel” is when someone wants treatment for a family member but is prevented from obtaining it because of rules passed by a cost/benefit rationing board. Obama appointee (Dr, Berwick) believes in the UK model, which includes rationing! The democrats don’t deny this!!

How are you not paying for them now?
I will not have to pay more in taxes under Obamacare, why would you being paying more in taxes to cover other people? Grow up and get health insurance like a responsible member of society and you do not have to worry about it.
