British humour that I grew up with
(caution language)

American comedian I got hugely trashed with one night in 1989.
(caution language)

I thought a wee bit of humour might lighten up the tread.

I had the amazing opportunity to study a semester at Oxford. I adored England (especially the Lake Distric).

The only thing that bothered me was the gloomy weather. I'm a southern girl. Need my daily dose of sunshine.

Yea Germanicus, I figured I would see you here.. looking for stars from the sympathizer routine I'm sure.. aren't you Australian?

You are the starhunter. I only ever post unpopular opinion. My favourite topic is socialism. Hardly the stance of a starhunter. I am actually worried about America dragging us all down with it in case you had not noticed. I am looking to speak to Americans that are not ignorant/blind/closed in relation to how demonic and incompetent your government is.

And you know I am from Australia. I just said that.

Pay your bills. Stop ripping us all off. Stop dragging us into war. Stop destroying the global economy. If you do those things Im sure the Brits and Europeans will think you are great.
Im not sure about the rest of the world though. Many countries will not forget. The list of nations behind the BRICS that are working toward destroying America is so long its not funny.

I'm just an american who speaks properly and has superior genes.

Or

A brit with a yank accent.

Never could figure out which.

Though, the last time I was in London, I heard more generic accents than ever before.

Thus the reason we will never be united or love each other. We are easily divided by who's is better bigger or what is happening. The truth is we all have to be here and deal with the BS our democracy, Monarchy or Dicatorship gives us, the quicker we get over ourselves and look towards our future generations, the quicker we can get rid of stupidity we've been taught and have a real life.

I think you need to "Grow Up" and take responsibility for what your people did after the British left. Please note the date this occured:-

So tell me when did the British leave?

At the same time you need to stop brushing over your countries history. The English are probably the last people on earth that should be calling anyone else warmongers or land stealers.

Combined with your false presumption that your on your " native " land I'm curious as to whether like the Japanese, your countries school system downplays if not outright hides the lengthy crimes you committed against various countries and races.

Mind you this isn't a jab at the British as a whole I just find it incredibly ironic when a British person barges in a discussion like this and is apparently ignorant of their own countries past yet quick to condemn other nations.

It uh... hypocritical to say the least.

Please explain "Why i barged into this discussion" Was it by invitation only?

Secondly, i have every right to post the comments i have done. I am Btitish. I live in Britain. I cannot be held responsible for what my forefathers did or did not do.

And finally, i like in a country that is not being asked by The UN to give the land back that i live on, unlike the US:-

www.guardian.co.uk...

Bye.

Yet you are at the same time stating that Americans live on stolen land even though countless generations of Americans stole nothing from anyone. You do know what the words contradiction and hypocrisy mean do you do you not?

Funny because many of the Celtic peoples have been trying to get away from your country and demanding their land back under their own government. They have fought countless wars for this through the history of the isles and many have such a bitter hatred for your people I'm sure like some native Americans they would be glad to send you all off somewhere else yet again you seem oddly oblivious of this

Your avoidance of many points seems to point to you being annoyed i pooped on your little American bashing parade. I'm sorry but as a history buff I'm not going to let someone carry on with their revisionist nonsense.

[more

I wasn't going to reply to your tripe. However

Please tell me who is making a claim for the UK Mainland? No one that i am aware of, unlike The Native American Indians in your own stolen country.

So you want me to take blame for what The British did centuries ago? I take it you will be saying that to any young Germans. They should take the blame for Hitler and his Nazi henchmen.

Pathetic.

Well, we in the UK have far better beer and pubs.
We have an ability to laugh in any given situation and at ourselves and others.
We play far better sports, have a much better appreciation of style, class, fashion, culture and music.
And we have have proper bacon and Sunday dinners.
We also have free health care.

However, our education system is a joke, the weather is crap and our politicians are a disgrace.

I dare say there is much to like about the USA.
Certainly the vast majority of Americans I have met or interacted with are decent, good people.
Sure some of them are arse holes but I can't count the number of Brits I've met over the years who are complete and utter tossers.

I'd love to one day spend some time in The States, and not just in the tourist places and big cities, and witness the USA first hand and experience some of that well known hospitality.

When I get back, you will have a personal invite.

I just can't stand the fact that I can't smoke in the pubs anymore.
