Why America IS better than the UK

Actually, yes. Hitler was already linked to Japan. So, being at war with Japan was going to chap Hitler's butt, and we were waiting for him to announce his war on us. It was PLANNED.

Now, that does not mean that the attack was not real. Just that TPTB did nothing about it.

Back during WW2, the President declaring war on Hitler would have caused him to be impeached (This is FDR, the man didn't want to leave office. 4 terms?) Some of those in control in Washington D.C. wanted to go in, but to jsut declare war would have caused civil unrest, for all that many Americans wanted at Hitler, by that point.

So, without enough power, chomping a the bit, knowing that Hitler had an alliance with Japan, when they got news of the impending attack at Pearl Harbor, they did not move the fleet. The attack gave us a "constitutional reason" to fight back against Japan, as we were attacked on our own soil.

If Hitler did not declare war on us, at least we could keep Japan off of Russia's tail long enough for Russia and England to only have to worry about what Germany and Italy did. But part of allying yourself with another nation is that often you fight their wars, and that's what was being banked on, when the fleet was blown up. It was a gamble, maneuvering the US into a "legitimate" fight with Hitler.

We don't' even bother with this pretext, now.

Apart from what you have posted is total rubbish, the reason why the UK is better than US is for one simple reason. The UK is OUR OWN COUNTRY, the US is STOLEN LAND. That should end the argument once and for all.

How naive you are. When the first English settlers arrived in America they where befriended by the natives. It's only when you got independence you treated them like scum:-

Oh yea that's right. Everything was fine and dandy under an English banner, but just as soon as those same people made their own nation things magically just changed.

You think immigrants from Europe were there to befriend American Natives? I don't think so, read the actual logs of Christopher Columbus, which exists on the internet if you want to find it. Doubtful that you will.

Read it for yourself and decide what his thoughts and intentions were for the native people.

It's during/before/after our independence that England and France paid for scalps of the settlers, causing at least the original rage towards so many natives. That's something that people forget.

The bigest diference i have seen is the fact that in america we can date outside of our class and freely acheive the goals of our heart and not of our elders
