Almost every day - I read of actions very similar to this case where a man with a medical condition and in this case its Diabetic Shock needing medical attention become news story. Why ? - they are suppose to serve and protect - but they took that off of their public paid for transportation. I noticed that they now put a backwards American Flag on enforcement vehicles. How do you protect yourself from the protector being the executionaire. Its sad, its bad, its not American. but then again I cant even point at anything anymore that I''m proud of - as being an American.... the PTB have done this - and we dont know why >>> either we need protection from Law Enforcement or we need to have some clarification
Peppe r Sprayed - Beaten - Tazed and Now Dead - all because of Diabetic Shock.

How are we going to fight these people? They have all the power.

Anyone who's been subject to their abuses knows the citizen always loses.

They do not have all the power! The greater power resides in numbers! This is what they fear more than all else!

Well all I can do is tell you what the police would do to a suspect and that is follow them and monitor their suspects actions - I guess the only thing I can think of is lets follow the enforcement with our volunteers. can you think of any other way ?

They'd figure out some way to bust anyone who did that. Say, Dis Con after refusing an order to cease and desist.

We the citizens once were protected by the Constitution & Bill of Rights

but crap like Socialized Obama-Care and Progressive...'Forward'...socialism have since superceded those liberties... and we are just a few Executive Orders away from being a hybrid Communist dictatorship

back in the late '60s there was a farsical demand we Anti-War patriots spoke of 'Where are Your Papers' in a very demanding voice like the Gestapo ...a few years earlier demanded...
remember this was the era of Nixxon
and the first manifestation of the Neo-Nazi government mindset
back then the saying was Amerika Love-It-Or-Leave It

but the radical Weathermen...& the frontman president Øbama, the Marxist idealogue have changed that discourse into a rabid Anti-Capitalist gameplan

its a sorry situation that will not be healed...we are headed for Entropy regardless if Romney or Øbama sits in the oval BJ room

well the people could open a non-profit, independant Police of the Police -- instead of calling 911 ... call HELP.
instead. that would almost immediately come under fire.... speaking of Fire - I recall, the fire department letting a man house burn to the ground because he did not pay the fire protection fee... so if we went to every house and took up a collection and at the same time told them who to call.... they would have a big problem real fast.... and you would have to sue each and every person in the town... who would win ?

They need regulating more, thats one thing I'd recommend.

Instead of letting the police deal with internal problems such as when a police officer facing criminal charges - We need an outside body to be able to charge them like a normal citizens, instead as if their above the law which is the mind frame 95% of them have at the moment.

It would also be good for an outside body to deal with complaints against the officers as in allot of cases they get ignored.

I wonder if Mr. Johnson who is now dead was one of the 17% of diabetics who have hypoglycemia unawareness which leads to diabetic seizures at times? I have hypo unawareness along with diabetes and stories like this scare the hell out of me. S+F to the OP for posting this.

Police DEFINITELY NEED better training about medical issues that people can experience, instead of using weapons like tasers and pepper sprays on them! IT'S AN OUTRAGE!!!!!

I should've added also-those police should be tried in a court of law for MURDER.

The police do seem to be quick on the squirt gun and the taser.

There need to be consequences, which doesn't seem to be the case right now.

Maybe they should be sprayed and tasered a couple of times a year. Maybe they'd be more aware of the damage they do.

It's about growing a backbone and not just voicing your opinion online.
If you see injustice speak up on the spot, not online.

I think Tazers are Torture, and as near as I can tell - Police didn't need training until about 15 years ago.. then they just keep getting more and more sadistic. in my opinion and not all police are bad, I knows several that are real descent human beings. having said that - they all wear a uniform and they all sort of look alike - and you cant tell the difference until they are about 1 foot away from you.

I agree. There is an element of sadism involved here. There are far too many violent incidents instigated by the police for it to be anything else.

Not all police are bad. However, the ones that are, far "outshine" the ones that aren't!

Our police today behave exactly the way they have been trained to behave. This slippery slope began when the drug war started. Also, many of today's domestic police were in the middle east "yesterday", knocking down doors, murdering, torturing, raping, stealing and using collective punishment. A significant number of these troops are damaged mentally and morally.

We need protection from this mafia pretending to be our government. They are systematically looting our treasury and destroying our liberties. After we "fix" this government, the police problem will disappear in short order when police are properly indoctrinated in the Constitution/Bill of Rights and the top layer of cancerous police management is replaced.

In the short term, citizens that are victimized by the police and this government have occasionally struck back, but we don't hear much about it. Some examples are a man flying an aircraft into an IRS building, another man setting up an ambush for police and calling 9/11 (killing 3 police) and yet another man that disassembled a town with an armored bulldozer. Look for more of these "last stand" actions as the government/police continue to deteriorate.

Ah you brought up a memory of what I think was a ATS thread... where a guy just got off a 48 hour shift at a hospital and was extremely tired. he had his mother in the passengers seat. I guess she picked him up. anyway, he was pulled over, and arrested for under the influence or something like that, he got sprayed and tazed and arrested. and his mother was trying to tell the police is just got off a extra long shift at the hospital and the police tazered her.... about two weeks later - the same cop was coming out of a (grocery?) store and the guy first sprayed the cop and then tazed the cop and I think he punched him as well.... in court he said let that be a lesson never mess with my mother ... he got 24 months for assualt... I cant find the story.... but justice I guess was served and he did get time in jail....

Absolutely, we need an outside agency to govern "law enforcement"; especially when there's money to be made off of each and EVERY arrest. Where ever there is money, there is greed; where ever there is greed; there is corruption; where ever there is corruption, someone's life is in jeopardy. And, especially since video's and photos can be altered. These days, anyone can say anything; and we all know: "we're guilty until proven innocent"!
