Dude... we are at war with Iran. What don't you get or see.

They have been killing our soldiers since we have been in Iraq & Afgan.

Oh... I get... Just because Obama or the MSM doesn't say we are at war... means we aren't at war?

I think it's the liberals and socialists themselves that don't understand the many definitions of the term....one of the versions of socialism is government taking over the means of production....Obama is doing that through unions and bailouts...hint...they aren't bailouts....the government will not let go of it's interest in the companies under Obama....IE...the government controls the corps that took the bailouts.....that equals socialism.

I wonder how well you have been paying attention the last couple of years or how much the fact that he ran on the Democrat ticket blinded you and most others on these forums you can't seem to get past it and see reality.

The bailouts though approved by Bush, had Obama been this demonic version of a socialist or Marxist like you all seem to think, he would have slapped each bailout recipient with some kind of clause that would have ended up with nationalizing them. That didn't happen nor was it ever even hinted at. Each of those receiving bailouts, instead of buckling down like we're told to do ended up giving out the largest bonuses to date and it keeps going up, Obama pretended to be mad about it when it came to light...but nothing has happened since.

Name one single thing Obama has done for Unions. You can't. In fact in my opinion he and the entire Democratic Party just slapped Unions in the face with their non support of anything that was going on in Wisconsin. Did they try to get a viable candidate in there? No. Did they donate to the candidate that did go up? No. Did they say more than a few words about the entire thing? Nope.

Unions have lost ground under Obama and the private sector gained.

You say you aren't a fan of socialism but it seems you had no problem using it for your advantage. The VA, the military

You are not free in the military. You're property of the government. Is that what you want for all American citizens? I doubt many US citizens could put up with that for long.

the fire department, and the police department are all socialist entities. They operate collectively for the collective benefit of everyone.

No, that's locally funded services. Not socialism. No matter how badly you try to spin it that way.

Yeah it seems to me that the most extreme left viewpoint he carries is in regards to gay marriage. Aside from that it seems that he has been pretty conservative and middle grounded.

I too felt duped. I voted independent, I won't belong to either party again until they get themselves straightened out or a good third party cimes into play, but felt o.k. when the choice was made and thought maybe it won't be that bad. Never again.

We have almost a repeat of '08 tell you why I say that. I think McCain didn't get the vote not only because of war with Iran, but his age, he was Obama "light" and he was not a good speaker. I don't approve of many of Obama's policies, but I'll give the man credit where it's due, with a teleprompter, the man can deliver a speech. I think that's what drew nearly everyone in.

Romney is "almost Obama light" i.e., Romneycare. Now Romney is a decent looking man,(unfortunate that some people go by looks alone) I haven't heard him speak, because I don't think our choice will count anyway in the long run, too many things are probably in play to either rig ( Hacker/ voter fraud in electronic voter machines or cancel election, (False flag attack/or major natural disaster = Martial law, "never let a good crisis go to waste" former Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel's advice to Obama).

Not to mention the things Obama and cohorts could do as a lame duck President before another person takes control, if someone does manage to be elected in his place. Plus he's still got the new "Supremes" in place even if and when he leaves. They should never have a lifetime appointment there either.

Anyway that's my take on things.

Obama and Cheney, Making Connections
Vice President Cheney is related to Sen. Barack Obama.

At least that was the stunning announcement made yesterday by Lynne Cheney, who said that the very white vice president from Wyoming is in fact the eighth cousin of Obama, the Senate's only African American member. She said she discovered the link, traced back to a Huguenot who figured prominently in Maryland history, while researching her latest book.

"This is such an amazing story," Cheney said in an interview on MSNBC, "that one ancestor, a man that came to Maryland, could be responsible down the family line for lives that have taken such different and varied paths as Dick's and Barack Obama's." Cristina Allegretti, Lynne Cheney's research and project manager at the American Enterprise Institute, said the vice president's wife did an exhaustive genealogical search of her family while working on "Blue Skies, No Fences." Her research led her to an early Cheney settler named Richard Cheney, whose granddaughter married Samuel Duvall, whose mother, Mareen Duvall, is distantly related to Obama. Lynne Cheney read a story that said Obama wa s related to Mareen Duvall, and realized the link.

Obama, whose mother was white, did not immediately comment on the revelation. But his campaign made light of the tie, without confirming it. "Obviously, Dick Cheney is the black sheep of the family," Obama spokesman Bill Burton said.
