Seems quite an interesting proposition albeit with a slightly optimistic timeline:

Basically they want to send people to live on Mars permanently with the first human touching down in 2023. Some news stories covering it:

i like this project....better to have private scientists and researchers spearheading this awesome mission then nasa and the government anyday

This is all wishful thinking.
We are no where close to sending and supporting humans on Mars.

And the concept of riches comming back from Mars is beyond wishful thinking.

I think that is interesting. I don't know if I'd want to live on Mars forever though.

Wow, they'll be in for a big shock when they get there and start stumbling over all the trashed or burned artifacts, let alone the beings that live in the underground cities

best bet would be a mars hole somewhere in its equator...unless its already occupied
