Again.....dont rock the boat to use this playaction........just keep er steady and if you need to keep guys sharp call it in....they will execute it efficiently.

In case you havent noticed Sidney they have greenlit Drouin ...he will go on extended possesions EVERY TIME NOW....so you MUST HIT HIM AS ORDERED.

If you snuff Drouin now you snuff their pushback which he started.....all mpa has done is go to their own quick-strike pln....so simply use you stick extensions to seperate pucks from players 3 feet either side of your blueline simply denying the quick release or pass.

Were you to be targeting their Achillies heel in Drouin I would say chnge nothing but you better hit him and HARD....and from his blindside if you can because he is playing wayyyy to much E/W hockey in your zone for a little squirt....lay him out.

Sudney.....just make a wee small adjustment....on 25% of your deep zone possesions when they dump-in ...have your d-men go for a BOOTLEG immediatly....go into a fast-break exit SKATING IT ALL THE WAY OUT OF THE ZONE.......just try to force them to think twice about the all-in pressure.....25% of the time just kick the puck out and run it high speed around the boards bootlegging it ASAP forcing them to react to you.

Sidney is zeroed into the 5-hole.....tell him to just let the Force guide him .....and release when it "feels right".....and pop one in between his legs.....get him moving side to side and sift one in.

San Jose offense.....kick it out to the top right side shooting ASAP LOOKING FOR A LONG RANGE SHOT REBOUND ,have someone float over to just above the left 1/2 boards and wait for the rebound or pass so THEY CAN SHOOT ASAP producing the eqivilant of a LONG RANGE ONETIMER because the forced rebound or uick pss comes ot so fast,when they shoot quickly from the high right side as soon as there forecheck recovers they immediatly kick it out to the top right side as a floater slides to the high 1/2 boards left side.

Soooo....their primary play is to enter your zone by dumping it in and then digging it out and ASAP kicking it to the top right side as a floater sneaks to the left side high 1/2 boards sniffing for a long range backdoor quickrelease.....their secondary option is if they are neutralised from kicking it to the top right THEY IMMEDITLY SLIP IT OVER TO THE FLOATER WHO HAS SNUCK INTO THE LEFT SIDE HIGH 1/2 WALL POSITION for a QUICKRELEASE SHOT......the left side is their real trigger side....their right side is their forced rebound set up side.

Obviously you need to focus on seperating puck from man ASAP on the top right side with EXTENDED STICKS AND EXPLOSIVE CHALLENGES WITH LEGS DRIVING AND SPACE DISAPPEARING FOR THEM......do not let them get their 1st shot off....force them to go to their 2ndary option which is the quick-out right to that high 1/2 board side......the first few times you force them to go to their 2ndary option because there is NO LONG RANGE RIGHT SIDE SHOT OPTION TO SET UP THE FORCED REBOUND they will be most vulnerble to to having their forecheckers make that quick pass to the left side....you SHOULD be able to pick off those first few 2ndy outlet passes before they clue in.....you will be OFF TO THE RACES IF YOU EXECUTE BECAUSE ONLY THE SNEAKY GUY ON THE HIGH 1/2 WALL WILL HVE CHANCE TO CTCH YOU ND HE WILL BE FLATFOOTED......AND FACING THE WRONG WAY.....if you execute you will have a high value opportunity to run it ALL THE WAY UPICE WITH NO ONE TO STOP YOU.

Actually once you stop their primary-secondary options in your zone you should have them busted up System-wise.....the we will tweak the forecheck you are using.

They have moved their 1/2 wall guy in and are still using the right side playaction trigger but now when their forecheck recovers pucks they arent IMMEDIATLY kicking it to the right side they are looking to immediatly lug it to the net specificlly looking wraparound or oblique angles from close in as the come around the corners.....so FINISH CHECKS BEHIND THE NET AND REMOVE THE MAN FROM THE PLYCITON SO THEY CANNOT LUG IT OUT FRONT.


So simply adjust knowing they are wrapping around trying to speed things up....by removing one pass from the playction.

They are also slipping guys up high to stop your d-men from keeping pucks into the zone which are kicked out up high in their zone..............soooooooooooo......just take an extra 1/2 second before you shoot dont convert your playactios so quickly in their zone.....extend possesion by ADDING A PASS as you close on their net...IF IF IF...they come out doing that again.See lobsang they are expecting your quick shots and are doing what you are doing in your d-zone....quick clears....to their guys hanging up high stopping your d-men from recovering pucks for 2nd opportunitys.

IMHO they will go back to their 1st period focus as outlined earlier now that you know how to neutralise their slight but effective adjustments.

Im not babysitting here.......lol......... Moma2 intentionally flushed the Sharks out by exposing them and forcing them to daance by making them adjust pro-actively.......now you know what their A-Game is because Moma2 exposed it and forced them to adjust....AND AND AND....lol....now you know their B-Game as this post outlined.

Now you have them where you want them ......we will see their focus within 3-4 shifts....and now you know their primary and secondary focuses......they only have 2 to choose from now....and you are dialed in to both....just accurately read their early focus and you should be able to strike back.....if I dont see you effectively pushing back Mom2 will send in some targetting data for you so you can score a couple of quick ones.....my suggestion is to try the give and go executed WIDE E/W with the 3rd man hanging himself up right in front of the net,instead of the cross-ice finishes this will allow you to extend your playactions enough if they try keeping their support up high taking away your 2nd opportunities.

Sid...on the PP.....get it to the 1/2 wall and walk it 5 feet lower drawing them to collapse over to you then slip it to the pointman for a onetimer from the middle.Your taking to long to shoot from the point or to bring it in you are to indecisive.....those points have to either shoot or drive and penetrate wide..not middle.....FASTER.....just speed up the pointmans decision...simple small adjustment.

Well done Pens.....you came out in the 3rd focused on your own game and it paid off....the Sharks got caught playing tag with themselves because Moma2 forced them to adjust after the first period when they didnt want to ..........and shouldnt have...LMAO....Moma2 forced them to tip their hands and twitch and they BLINKED FIRST or "adjusted" first[when the Pens had not "forced it", thereby exposing their entire primary and secondary focuses and because the Pens held fast they could not find the chance to use their tertiary focus.....lol......they were stutter-stepped.....lol...lol...lol.Moma2 had them adjusting when there was no reason to adjust and this gave the Pens the "last adjustment"....lol....in an NHL Hockey game each Coach only has a maximum of say 3 adjustment opportunitys...think tic-tac-toe.....think blinking first in a gunfight and tipping your hand to everyone to early.

Yes there are many many ways to win huh....lol....the NHS says the fewer steps to the top the better ....the fewer adjustments the better....says the NHS.....lol....ADDING ONE to someones journey is AWSOME when you can fandangle it.
