The reboots are necessary to appeal to the general public. I loved all the Next Generation movies and would be ecstatic to here about a DS9 or Voyager movie but movies like those only appeal to Trekkies and don't bring in the kind of revenue needed to keep the series going. A renewed public interest is the only thing that will keep Star Trek alive and thankfully J.J. Abrams is making it so.

After all these years pretty difficult,especially if you want to see the same cast.It didn't happen when the shows were fresh,no way it will happen now.

Personally i think it's time for a new tv show.
