Border between Norway and Russia closed

I�ve just heard that the border between Norway and Russia have been closed.
They have apparently found a "mysterious object" on the russian side of the border.
The russians would not say what the "mysterious object" was,
but asked the Norwegians to close the border until this object have been examined.
What�s going on?

Only a norwegian one.

Actually I did in my entrypost.
The only thing I didn�t mention was that they asked to stop all traffic across the border.
But that would be the consequence of a closed border anyway, wouldn�t it.

Is there some way to translate this with a software, or can one of you guys translate the site as my nordic language bank is seriously lacking lol.

They say the border was closed "immediately".
The UFO-conspiratists will love this.

The russians have still not explained what the mysterious object was,
but they say it was located about 400 meters from the norwegian office which is pictured above.
The border has been opened again.

I find it interesting everyone -who posted-right away, assumed it was UFO related.
My first guess would be military related.
The better question would be whose military Russia, US, EU-Chechnya?
For all we know it could be another bomb planted by Muslims?
I also grant my first thoughts all have negative connotations-sad commentary on today�s society and my mind set.

Interesting - anything more specific that you've heard about it? You said it was probably military related?

A norwegian citizen was arrested on the russian side of the border 2 or 3 days ago.
If there was a military reason for this arrest has not yet been proven.
But they say he was arrested for "planning terror" in russia...
If this is related to the closing of the border, I don�t know.
