It will be interesting to see who shows up for the discussion and what they have to say.
The lists of the achievements of these two men are as long as you arms.
The intrigue alone makes the comparisons unique and vital to understanding how, who and why we are at were we are at, in the ( and I say this with in trepidation)space race farce.

Your first link give us this:

Your 2nd link gives us this:

kb4f91cd6d.jpg

So we are not able to read what you'd like us to read / look at.

Also: exactly what is it you want to discuss about these two men? Their achievements? Their background? Likes? Differences?

What exactly is it you are trying to point out?.....other than broken links that is.

Many people built and tested rockets, Goddard was the first one to use a liquid fuel rocket, but he wasn't the first to have that idea.

Yes correct, while Goddard was testing liquid fueled rockets, a Russian professor Konstantin Tsiolkovsky was thinking along much the same lines. Both came to the conclusion independently that, if a rocket was going to do the things they dreamed of, it would have to be powered by liquid fuels. Tsiolkovski lacked Goddard's practicality. While Tsiolkovski worked out many principles of astronautics and designed suitable rockets, he never built any.

You mention two men with broken links that don't even post as links and expect intelligent discourse? Well get the ball rolling would jya?

We already have the impression of some derogatory distraction to slight the American Space Program, but yet to establish what yet, study first the Forum Information before you look like a fool. Opps, tool ate.

The adolescent street slang spiel doesn't help improve a stance to be taken seriously either. So you better open the big boy grown up box, mkay?

Well solo cup I warned you and gave you all the information a rational jester requires. I hate to do this cause for some strange reason I have taken aliken ta ya hon.

I'm not really sure what we're supposed to discuss about these two people. One's a Rocket scientist/engineer, the other is in Geosciences and planetary sciences. Two very different fields of science. The only similarity is that they both worked for NASA for part of there careers.

So... yeah... Anything you'd like to add to the discussion to get the ball rolling there LJB? Because I think we're all a little lost as to what you're attempting to show us all here.
