Yes, Mt. Hermon is close enough to be connected with East African Rift's Fault effects and upthrust limestone effect.

It is associated with what is called the Arabian Plate and the edge runs right down the middle of the Dead Sea and up the Jordan Rift valley. On the upper edge of the Arabian Plate one sees larger Mountains in Turkey.

Mt Hermon's mountanous fold range runs over to the Jordan Valley Rift and it appears well within the range of the rift's often wide effects on causing upthrusting for Mtn. formation and often volcanic issues either side of the Rifts fault lines.

This was a bombshell of a book -- it goes way beyond The da Vinci Code (book) and since I have personally investigated the Rennes-le-Chateau issue for several years, I was amazed at the accuracy of his info and also pleased that he didn't compromise the remaining secrets that need to be protected to this day. Eventually the Truth will come out, however, and this book will help prepare people to accept (via a better understanding) what has really been going on.

Related issues, truthfully handled, are Gnosticism, Cathars and the Knights Templar (who you will find are involved with that Tomb of Jesus' Family 'revealed' in March on the Discovery channel -- but you have to read the corresponding Tomb of Jesus book to see that). He even explains how the rumor got going that Jesus died in Kashmir -- but he neglects to point out that Jesus had a twin brother (see person 2nd from the left end of the table in Da Vinci's painting The Last Supper... In the theory of the survival of Jesus, there are a number of clues which help support it, but there are two major clues that are the strongest.

The first is in the crucifixion itself. When a person was crucified they did not die quickly, but rather a slow painful, morbid death which would have taken two to three days, possibly even a week. Jesus supposedly died within two to three hours.
