That's why we use Concordances and Greek and Hebrew Lexicons. Do you know what the profession of Lexigrapher is?

Words to change their meanings over time, that's correct. The original Hebrew and Greek texts never change.

I think it is we maybe that provide the change for these usages over time... it's odd that dog spells god backwards.

I have done a bit of reading on this and have quite a few documentaries dealing with the subject also.
