Eh.. don't buy that. A lot of the same groups supported the tea party movement. It doesn't matter who tries to allign with you, it matters who YOU try to align with.

Occupy has been outwardly critical of Obama, Biden, Pelosi, and the whole government. A lot of the other groups sign up for attention. The only reason Obama had to support Occupy was because he couldn't come out against them and alienate the youth vote who,believe it or not, ( and I know this scares a lot of people here on ATS) MOST young people in America support Occupy. I guess SeaBagel thinks the majority of America's youth are wrong.

One final note and the most important thing I will say and have said many times.

It doesn't matter who nutters like SeaBag THINK started Occupy. What matters is who picked it up and what it came to stand for. It has come to stand for people speaking out against the injustices perpetrated against the people.

My oft repeated analogy for Occupy. A bad man can lay down a hundred dollars, but a good man can pick it up and do something positive with it. I have been to Occupy protests, I actually know what happened. The little campsites in a few cities are the minority. This was a real movement and will continue. Seabag will continue being one of those people hiding in his fireplace eating hard tack saying "psshh we'll never break away from the kingdom, what disrespectful savages these people are."

He also thinks that the US Border Guard group is despicable and flies in the face of the constitution.....even though they said this about their participation in Occupy Phoenix:

Border Rangers who patrol the border took a non-political stance to defend peaceful assembly and free speech of all citizens by exercising our right to keep and bear arms. Phoenix Police units were on scene also keeping the peace. Our founding fathers and founding mothers knew full well that the 2nd Amendment is what protects all our other amendments from tyranny. The USBG protected the rights of all parties involved.

The NeoCns are beginning to become critical of even 2nd amendment supporters.....or Seagbag copy/pasted a link without reading it.

One person on that list of Occupy supporters your provided was David Duke. We all know who David Duke is.

David Duke ALSO supported the Tea Party! If we follow your line of thinking, it is safe to say that you do not support the Tea Party...right?

Look at this despicable group of people and organizations. I would NEVER associate with these groups nor do I believe any of them want to restore America to its constitutional roots.

Since you made the above statement earlier, I will now wait for you denounce the Tea Party as being connected to known KKK members, and the connection they now have to Occupy.

I'm beginning to see that it's only propaganda if it's against something these guys support. At least some of us are big enough to admit we had bought into the negative propaganda against the Tea Party, it's a damn shame when grown men can't do the same.

Ya, I think it's safe to say that these guys have a clear agenda. Even in the face of clear evidence, they will not deviate from that agenda.

Anyway, I will watch this film when it comes out and we will see how honest they were in making it. Hopefully the filmmakers would not stoop as low as to take things out of context for political purposes....but considering who we are dealing with, I doubt they are that honorable.

What good can come from the occupy movement.

1) new government?
a) military?
b) more controlling? to what end?
c) of the people for the people by the people? you mean the ones watching Reality shows on TV while their america goes away, that of the people for the people by the people
2) egress of what Corporate $$ are still here in America
a) 3rd world country comes to mind.

If you have no prior knowledge of what is in the movie, then how can you say that it will prove that which you already know? Is it because the political affiliations with this film align with your personal beliefs, and therefore you are going to support it....even if it is filled with lies and out-of-context information?

I asked anyone to show me how “a lot” of the same groups supported the Tea Party and all you came up with was one video of David Duke? I don't think 1 of 29 qualifies as "a lot" but whatever.

Duke is a complete imbecile. Here are 2 videos of Duke supporting OWS. In one of them he spends several minutes carrying on about the evil Zionists (huh...where have we heard that term thrown around). He's obviously insane so I disregard anything he says.

No one is attacking the Tea Party in this thread and the only ones left really attacking it all are elected into Washingon DC offices with revolving door access to anyone with money and no access to The People. I think Washington is honestly terrified by the talks between Occupy and the Tea Party that have been taking place albeit too few of them, IMO. Maybe that's why you're seeing a renewed effort to demonize Occupy? Maybe it's because of the upcoming G8 and the expected presence of Occupy (though that got moved to Camp David...LOL). Maybe the NATO summit? The approaching spring? Apply some critical thought.

I bet none of this shows up in your video. One example of many if you look beyond the talking head news.

I did nothing of the sort. I used your list and it backfired in your face! I used to support the TP as well until it was taken over by fascist Republicans. IMO, the TP and OWS are actually very similar. They both began as grassroots movements and then were overtaken by political zealots.
