Test out your microphone via skype and see if its working, that way if you get the urge as i know you will and click to connect via skype it will make the whole process of actually going live that much more interesting and exciting.

Good advice - but don't forget you don't need to be limited to Skype - we do take land line calls - the details are in the thread above
