Sure buddy, you keep on thinking that but take a look over your shoulder, there will likely be a Canadian who thinks the death penalty is an excellent idea. Take note, some Canadians are not falling for the political correctness BS any longer.

The death penalty should only be discussed if you can prove that everyone involved in an investigation, from the cops and evidence gatherers, to the forensic pathologists, to the lawyers and judges, are all 100% honest and infallible at their jobs. If it is not even remotely possible that someone along the line is crooked or just makes a mistake, then and only then can we discuss the possibility of a death penalty.

Since that is not possible, neither should be a death penalty.

Death penalty shouldn't be some legal line that when crossed, you are charged in a specific way with the death penalty being the default judgement.

The death penalty should be used in cases where the criminal has been proven guilty without a doubt of extreme crimes against society. In other words, advocate the death penalty after the trial, not before.

That would be awesome for armed robery and crime with in that calssification (felony) Didn't they used to have that, picking up trash on the side of the road stuff like that? But for a cold blooded serial killer, evil at the core. Death. No ifs and or buts, IMO.
