What we Canadians Have to be Proud of?

1. Smarties (not sold in the USA )
2. Crispy Crunch, Coffee Crisp (not sold in the USA )
3. The size of our footballs fields, one less down, and bigger balls.
4. Baseball is Canadian - 1st game June 4, 1838 - Ingersoll, ON
5. Lacrosse is Canadian
6. Hockey is Canadian
7. Basketball is Canadian
8. Apple pie is Canadian
9. Mr. Dress-up beats Mr. Rogers
10. Tim Hortons beats Dunkin' Donuts
11. In the war of 1812, started by Americans, Canadians pushed the Americans back past their White House.
Then we burned it, and most of Washington ...
We got bored because they ran away.
Then, we came home and partied....
Go figure.
12. Canada has the largest French population that never surrendered to Germany .
13. We have the largest English population that never Ever surrendered or withdrew during any war to anyone, anywhere. EVER!
(We got clobbered in the odd battle but prevailed in ALL the wars)

Oh yeah... And our elections only take a few week

As a Canadian this was fun to read and made me proud!

I happen to like Canadians and found Vancouver to be one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited. Now, I have to bring something up, didn't the queen close your Parliament and prevent you from voting out your Prime Minister not too long ago? Not being mean or sarcastic; but, every place has it's shortcomings and every place has its successes. And if it occurs to you, the United States created the personal computer that you used to write this and the internet that you posted it on. And to be fair, the recently passed NDAA was the death toll for freedom in my country. The western world no longer believes in democracy and that is my biggest issue with all of the west. Peace.

By the way, S&F, glad you pointed out the great things that your nation has done.

Its candy coated milk chocolate, its a good quality milk chocolate too(like cadbury etc).. not crappy simulated chocolates.

Crunchy coatings then soft milk chocolate, its tasty. and can be used as toppings.

McD has them as topping option in McFlurry(i hope this is what they call in states lol).

Its funny, i live in Toronto Ontario (a densely populated city in canada), and i barely seenpeople use "eh?", we dont use it at end of every statement.. it kinda flows into a question form...like saying.. "isn't that right?"

French people are mostly located in Quebec, we barely see any french, if we do, they would speak in english and you wouldn't know the difference.

I never seen a moose in my life (other than zoo of course).

Honest, the truth, I couldn't imagine having better neighbors than Canadians. South Park the Movie was funny because I don't think any of us in the United States could ever imagine hating Canada or it's people, you are too polite and we even like Jim Carey.

Now, if you could only separate into two countries so that we could make Western Canada the 51st state.

LOL. That was funny; but, I really mean it, Canadians are some of the nicest (cheap tippers) people on the earth. You mentioned the wars you won; but, really, how many wars has Canada started, zero maybe. If "polite" is the wrong word, how bout, nice. Canadians that I have known (many) tend to be very friendly. I will be a bigot for a second (not really just generalizing). I find Mexicans to be the most family orientated, Canadian to be the friendliest and Americans to be the most inventive. Jeez, I hope I don't sound bigoted and it is not across the board in any of our countries. Our individual societies have promoted certain things and that is how I see it. I also only mentioned the best qualities of all of us, we all have bad qualities also. Canada is a wonderful place full of wonderful people, again, we are so lucky to be each others neighbors. Sure you burned down our White House; but, how much have we been supportive of each other since then. We can always build a new one. Peace.

By the way, probably be a bad idea to try that again.
