Technically speaking you are wrong about those actions being genocide. But why bother? It is a nation whose existence it owes to the genocide of the natives.

Also why get hung up on words? As if mass murder for control of resources that they have absolutely no claim over somehow becomes less reprehensible, if it can't be described as genocide?

Westerners in general and Americans in particular are masters at the art of deflection. Don't get trapped trying to justify the exact words employed. The fact is they are a nation of mass murdering psychopaths who are thrilled at the prospect of going around murdering. The excuses they invent to engage in their favourite hobby of theirs vary. Absolutely no point in trying to convince them their excuses don't make sense to any self-respecting human beings, they don't understand that concept, self-respecting human beings, at all.

That is right. They will do a wrong and try very hard to convey to the world that they did something very right. Example: Iraq 2003 and Libya 2011 under the guise of Responsibility 2 Protect. In reality it was operation of Responsibility 2 Plunder the oil resources.
