Obama could of extended the contract in Iraq...he didn't...hence he ended the war.

There is no "real" unemployment...there is the U3 and the U6...and you have to compare the same one over a period of time. What Fox News and other conservatives like to do is take the U3 when Obama took office and use the current U6 unemployemnt.

Not event the current U6 is showing 20%...not sure why I would trust some bloggers fictional rate of 20% over the official numbers.

If you don't know what U3 and U6 are...then it's probably not even worth discussing this with you.

Forget the numbers and spin.

We ALL have personal knowledge of friends and family who have just giving up.
The economy is wrapped around Obamas neck. His situation is hopeless.

Expect to see Hillary to be trotted out by the DNC in February.

On the unemployment rate
www.zerohedge.com...

Really...a post by "Tyler Durden" is more official to you than the actual reported numbers.

You are kidding...right....Tyler Durden....please say you are kidding.

this list here is just from the healthcare bill...150ish new agencies and boards.
www.carolinapatriots.org...

This is a list of mostly available grants...not new agencies.

And the OP never said he didn't create new agencies...I have no problem at all with new agencies to fill a need.

eleven new agencies with Frank dodd bill

Again...why would I care about new agencies to regulate wall street???

And again...where did the OP say anything about Obama reducing or not creating new agencies???

Honestly, I should not have to post any references for the kickbacks given to the unions, it is common knowledge that UAW received the majority of stocks in the GM deal, however, since some folks have the blinders on....
theblogprof.blogspot.com...

Do you have any other sources besides blogs, forum posts, or completely fictional made up information????

Is this enough, or would you like me to read them aloud as well?

Enough for what...you didn't refute anything from the OP's article.

You linked a bunch of blogs and forum posts about information that wasn't in the OP's article...and you claim this as proof that you debunked the article.

Please try again.

According to government statistics, if the same number of people were working today that
were working in 2007 the unemployment rate would be 11%.

Have you heard of a large group of the population called "baby boomers"???

Yeah...they are all retiring.

I've wanted to start this thread for a while, but you're braver than I, by all accounts.
Good thread! I don't know if it's people's overall frustration about the way things are, but Obama has done a LOT of good things and there's legislation in the works to further help our economy to right itself.

His accomplishments should not be ignored.

Have you heard of cooking the books to make Obama look good?

People have dropped out of the work force? Great! Just ignore them.

I vote for Obama hoping for the best. However ther were some personal disappointments:

He was supposed to help South Carolina's impoversished public schools in the low country. Those are the Black Americans who rolled out to vote for him. Nothing happened to the hopeless areas there. This state needs better public education for the economically challenged areas.

No disclosure of UFO/ ET information at all.

He did not prosecute those Bankers/ Banks / Mortage and Investment Compaines that caused the whole recession by selling bundled bad credit home loans. These mortgages were bought by people who had bad credit, and then sold as bundles to all of us who wanted to invest our money. There is a great documentary available at Nexflix on this. It is very enlightening. Those Bankers should have repaid the money and gone to jail. Someone ended up with the money pile.

Many people lost their houses, jobs, net worth.
Many people got stuck with houses they can't sell, and these people had to move for jobs, or lost jobs, or had to become landlords, only to watch their investments to be tore up by renters. This makes those people at the lets try to get by without losing our shirts, we are renting the house for less than the mortgage payments or at the mortage payment level. No profit, just lets break close to even until this is all over...

Free energy ideas should be explored for job growth areas, economy boost, and freedom from fossil fuels and their war mongering countries. War is dragging us down, we are not getting ahead financially due to this. Some of the Republican candidates are war mongers. Why should we care about those tiny violent countries? We have enough brain power to explore ways of getting off fossil fuels. Let's do it!

I feel the American public wanted to see Obama on TV doing status undates on his progress, he was hardly ever on TV. No one feels like they can trust him, or that all the BS he said campagning was true. Yes we can...

We also wanted to see the dead body on display for the 911 attacks. We were owed this for the heavy price we have paid emotionally, and finacially, and for personal losses.... That was a huge let down. We all needed closure. We are not muslims, we don't care about a proper burial done immediately. Parade then creamate. I lived next to DC when the whole event unfolded and we moved away from our cute area to get away from the emotional detressing ordeal. We wanted closure.

What we really need is a brainy genius finacial person in office. A person with lots of intelligence who cares about the country and its citizens and their everyday problems and rights. A return to morals and ethics of hard work and doing the right thing. I like Ron Paul, but wonder if he would be up to the physical job of being president? I liked Poss Peroit and even the Clintons did a great job.

Obama will go down in history as the worst president ever.

America tried on a socialist suit and it did NOT fit.

Nothing but BS in the OP.
For example, Dodd-Frank. What a joke. Didn't MFGlobal and Corzine just steal their clients money? Yes, some oversight we have.
How JPMorgan and George Soros Ended up with the farmers money.
The rest is the same sort of nonsense.

Obama and Romney are both in the Wall Street camp, and the military-industrial complex for that matter. I suspect if Romney gets elected we will see the same sort of nonsense while our country continues its decline.

BTW, how many times has George Soros visited the White House?
We briefly saw some transparency at the White House. Was it 4 times?

The - transformation - moved along quite well.
However, it looks like ObamaCare will be found to be unconstitutional by SCOTUS.

Ummm...yeah.

If they have dropped out of the workforce...why would you count them in the unemployment numbers???

Retired people aren't unemployed...they have left the workforce.

Yeah, the "supreme" court. Perhaps they will do the right thing. The traitors will be outed in a split decision.
And, they are traitors. Obamacare has very little to do with care, and no one cares to mention all of the exemptions.
The burden that is the federal government just grows and grows, with all of the dependents selling the lies on the MSM. Just like the lies here.

They want to work but can't find any.

Then there are the underemployed. I know 12 college graduates who currently work
as bartenders!

The SCOTUS will make ObamaCare disappear.

That will leave Dodd-Frank the next target. We will simply undo -everything- that Obama
did during his disastrous 4 year term.

The next administration will have to go the Federal Reserve to follow the paper trails.
Okay, lets see all of the secret funding to God knows what liberal government growth
project!!!

And these are included in the U6 numbers.

But you have to compare the pre-Obama U6 numbers to the current U6 numbers...not pre-Obama U3 to current U6 like Fox News likes to do.

No president has been re-elected with unemployment numbers like this since FDR.

Obama is in deep trouble. There is no way out.

Hillary will be trotted out in February 2012.

Hillary will NOT take a VP slot. She wants to be president & would NOT play well
with Obama.

The unemploymen rate is falling...if it continues to fall up until November...Obama gets a huge boost.

He can claim we are finally out of the Bush disaster and Obama's policies are taking effect.

You dont' have to believe it...but many will.
