If you know that it is a spotty faced teenager with personal hygiene problems - please contact them - hack into their computer - whatever and ask them to stop playing games. Why didn't you do this first and then tell us?

That does not make sense, Anonymous is quite the opposite. You really should try to explain what you mean with such a statement. Or provide an example or something of substance. You got it twisted holmes.

(they get to keep their money, surprise surprise surprise. i'm sure it's because they are so charitable.)

oh crap you mean you didn't get ALL the people's money in the stock market crash. madoff didn't get granny's cash? oh well, can't have that, can we.

and here's the clincher: alot of the people making these choices for granny, are rich kids who wouldn't know suffering if it jumped in their lap and took root.

but ah well, there's sure to be casualties in any war. right? easy to say when it isn't your bread and butter. don't think there'll be charities overseas worrying about granny starving to death. the propaganda machine has made damn sure it'll be viewed as her come uppance for having had the unfortunate fate of being born in a country on the verge of a communist takeover.

If the regimes received a windfall of currency would they feed the starving? No - governments without exception are populated by the greedy and ruthless - that's how power is attained and kept.

The 3rd world leaders would build themselves new fortresses and arm themselves with the deadliest, biggest weapons money can buy and all of our problems would be that much worse.

TPTB's best weapon against Anon is saturation.

Just like the saturation of UFO incidents that can be proven fake, thus undermining the true events in the eyes of general public.

Posing as Anon - promising the world and delivering very little (a few sacrificial lambs) - would seriously devalue Anon. The hearts and minds of potential hackers would be lost and a great victory by TPTB over this new phenomenon threatening their status quo would be achieved...

I'm not saying this is a pay-op, but if i was the establishment that's how i'd fight Anon, so i for one am mindful of my expctations and if this doesn't deliver i will not rush into blaming Anon for it. Instead, i'll question the clues presented in the choice of the sacrificial lambs.

This sounds kinda to good to be true! I hope it does have the impact we all are hoping for!

Straightforward logic my dear sir....

1. No mainstream coverage - despite the OP posting "Related News Links" which appeared to lend it some credibility. Mainstream media would be all over this, as they love to big up cyber terrorism!
2. No war room on Anonops IRC channel.
3. reddit.com/user/Tuxedage This guys posts over on reddit saying it's all fake.
4. Operation Hiroshima is also a poor code name, which makes not sense (if you think about it) in a struggle against common oppressors.

Anonymous, bless them, to date have not actually achieved anything in my view. DDOS attacks and randomly targeted database info gained by SQL injections... wow, way to destroy that corporate temple. They have however managed to get a bunch of gullible kids locked up by encouraging people to use their low orbit ion cannon. Their actions are far from laudable.

And that's the problem my friend. To many of the people have no idea how to live. They are content with waking up each morning and just doing their job without rocking the boat because they fear uncertainty. They, the idiots, would rather have someone else make the so called difficult decisions and they don't realize all those decisions was pretty much to screw us over.

Some just don't understand.

It's always been about the lulz.. All for the lulz. I'm one of the few that have been watching this closely.. Anon aren't script kiddies. These guys are our experts. The experts.

Will have to see what information they release, so far none of these information leaks have had much merit. Will this one be different?

the whole evolution going on in the world is not just about Anonymous and what they do, they are just a small part of the global awakening that you can see going on in many countries around the world. The people are starting to fight back and the revolution is in it's very early infancy.

The russian protests were another big step, it shocked people around the world that people are now becoming empowered enough to stand up and protest against the biggest,most corrupt governments in the world, it will keep spreading as more and more countries stand up. When the Algerian protests started it all, i don't think anyone had any idea how it would spread, egypt,libya,syria,yemen and now russia and many other countries around the world

Even in America with Ron Paul, the voice of the people is growing in a way that has never been seen before and as it grows the evil greedy people will try to supress and fight us down, because they don't have intelligence on their side, they only know force and trickery.

People need to stand up at some point, we have to say "enough is enough" and take our rights back, people are starting to realise that they do have power

Another thought of mine is, what exactly is Anon going to release? The info they release cannot be that big or juicy as that info is kept offline or in a physical form.

anonymous pretends to have no leaders, however. Anuvit. I know who you are. If they are not part of the united nations (which their un-like logo suggests) then they should be targeting the united nations and encouraging people to demand the dissolution of this wretched organization. I noticed they hacked them a few times, but frankly, if they aren't bringing down this threat of world government organization, then they are part of it.

I'll be waiting. This is going to be exciting, and hopefully it's more that truth.

I just had to make this post and reply to your posting of that video as it stirred up such a response from me. I found ATS around a month or so ago but had up to now only been a lurker. The video is so well made that towards the end of the video I actually found myself crying a few tears and feeling greatly moved by what was said. This video alone made me feel inclined to take that "leap" and create an account.

It really feels like things could really start to happen, that we could actually make a difference. We just need an event that brings mass awareness and I believe this could be it.

It could just be blind hope, but what else do I have left at this point? Since awakening my outlook on life has changed dramatically. I now feel the important issues, minor material things are not as important anymore.

Again, thank you for posting that video, I hope it has such an effect on others, too.
