I'm so glad Peter Jackson got to direct it! Guillermo Del Toro would have ruined it. Btw, S&F OP, didn't even know there was a trailer out thanks

No problem!

I am stoked, even though its a year away.

More time to make it perfect,as Mr. Jackson will do so.

Agreed Daas.. Del Toro's version would have been too dark, and 1 too many vampires....

The first thing that came to me after watching the trailer was pure, unadulterated nostalgia...but in a really good way. I love how Jackson is putting characters like Galadriel into the film, it really looks deep and compelling. This film (and the next one) are really going to put mediocre crap films like Twilight to shame.

I agree.

I had my children read the books, before they watched the cartoon version,or Jacksons version of LOTR.

looks better than lord of the rings so it may be good.
sorry but i'm not much of a fan of the lotr movies.
the hobbit is my favorite book from the collection and i hope they don't destroy the story too much as they like to do.
It will be another case of the book being better than the movie.
i am looking forward to seeing this movie but i have my doubts.

I can't wait to see this film!!!!!. Jackson produces the most amazing films ever. I have seen all the other Lord Of The Ring Videos and will not miss this one! Thanks!!

For those that don't know of it yet, The Hobbit will be the first major film ever filmed at 48 fps. The standard has been 24 fps for years now soo the Hobbit will be the most HD movie made to date.

That is why it looks soo damn good.

I just can't believe we have to wait ANOTHER year for its opening...

I think this movie has been being put off for like 10 years...

When Thorin started singing everything came into focus...there is indeed still some magic to be found in cinema.

Agree!

I heard there will be alot more singing in this movie.,BTW

Classics are hard to come by,and are not produced, like they were back in the day. Jackson will have a gem in his hand,I am assured.
