It's worth watching.
Although, I'd hardly call it a "debate".

Bastiat defines two forms of plunder: "stupid greed and false philanthropy". Stupid greed is "protective tariffs, subsidies, guaranteed profits" and false philanthropy is "guaranteed jobs, relief and welfare schemes, public education, progressive taxation, free credit, and public works". Monopolism and Socialism are legalized plunder which Bastiat emphasizes is legal but not legitimate. Justice has precise limits but philanthropy is limitless and government can grow endlessly when that becomes its function. The resulting statism is "based on this triple hypothesis: the total inertness of mankind, the omnipotence of the law, and the infallibility of the legislator". The relationship between the public and the legislator becomes "like the clay to the potter". Bastiat says, "I do not dispute their right to invent social combinations, to advertise them, to advocate them, and to try them upon themselves, at their own expense and risk. But I do dispute their right to impose these plans upon us by law—by force—and to compel us to pay for them with our taxes".[

Hmm. Paul had some issues hearing questions... Did not look good, maybe some audio sabotage behind the scene. At least he didn't rip his microphone off accidentally like Perry did... Now for Romney who has opened with an arsekissing.

Romney sounds like more of a bumbler than any of them. Including Perry.

Wish I'd seen Newt. We tuned in late.

Looks like all the candidates are getting a 'final word' in here at the end.

EDIT:

Romney said nothing of substance.

I love how Huckabee made a point to say that each candidate got the exact same amount of time. That's refreshing.

I don't think FOX wanted anything to do with they way the last debate went.
Can't be having Paul comeback with better answers than the other contestants..

Well Ron used his closing statement time well so I'm happy. Newt had Fox News in the background during his closing statement, so we know who they are backing. Thanks Dance4Life for the thread to follow along with.
Cheers

Huckster just stated that no Cain followers would convert to Paul followers.

Didnt Cain's website just basically convert to a Ron Paul support forum?
