Threatening Turkey now?

They don't understand that they're just giving us another reason to knuckle punch them.

We're going to knock the wind out of their WMD program.

If we're lucky, they'll get rid of their dipsh** leaders before the SHTF.

I don't want this war, but they're asking for it. They're forcing world leaders to do something. The UN report recently released confirms that Iran is stupid enough to start WW3.

Iran is like a tree that's rotten in the middle and leaning over the house. Time to cut it down. Take care of the business before it's out of our control and comes crashing down in our faces.

What is your take on all of this?

Where do you think this is all heading? (IE- your thread yesterday about China, Pakistan, and Afganistan)

Sounds more like Iran saying it is prepared to defend and retaliate if we attack them, I fail to see what is wrong with that, unless people are saying Iran has no right to defend itself against people who are threatening them over stuff that the aggressors (us) already have?

As a matter of fact an attack one one member of NATO is in fact an attack on all members.

Strategically striking missile batteries in Turkey because of an Israeli / Us attack on Iran makes no sense, especially if those missile batteries, or even Turkish bases, arent used in the attack.

If the US and only the US atacks Iran, does Iran have any reason to attack Israel?
If the International community, minus Israel, intervene in Syria, does Syria have a reason to attack Israel?

so basicly there defense strategy is to say if the usa attacks them they are gonna attack the regional power that is turkey while we are bombing the crap out of them?how does that make sense were getting attacked by a superpower and what ever people want to call Israel so Iran's finally gone insane....i just dont see how saying if u attack us we are gonna attack other people is a sane or even morally right plan? sure turkey is an ally of ours but i mean its the same crap north korea utters you attack us we will kill innocent people in unrelated countires and people wonder why no one takes them seriously i mean its not like even america says if we get attacked were gonna nuke every body as far as i knew only the isralies did that with there samson option. but if it was irans plan to act more like israel i guess they are succeeding

Im sorry you are correct. They just make comments about wiping Israel off the map. They just threatened Turkey with attacks should Israel or the US hit them. They have threatened the Arab League for their actions against Syria. They have stated any attack on Syria would be met with an Iranian response.

Essentially what they, and Syria, have stated is if either one comes under attack, they know they will not survive it. With that being understood they are stating they will do as much damage to countries in the region who dont support them, and will make the argument that the reason they were attacked was because of the Us or the West.

They will spin it that had they not sided with the Us ro the West, theyw wouldnt be in the position they are in.

To be brutally honest and I'll take some heat for this but I see ten times the rhetoric coming out of Iran than anywhere else. Every other day Iran threatens this or that if this or that happens. Meanwhile it never happens.

This is the kind of thing that happens when both sides talk AT each-other instead of TO each other.

As stated before "this is going to get out of control.."

From what I can make out, if there is any truth to the story, they are talking about taking out US installations that defend Israel, that just happen to be located in Turkey.........so if the US and Israel attack, I think taking out these targets is wholly justified, tough luck to Turkey for allowing them to be built in their country.

Edit: Just to add, if Iran do defend by attacking these targets, then it is essentially a defensive attack on the US, not Turkey, kind of.

It's time someone let Israel, the US and their allies know that they can't keep threatening, and attacking sovereign nations under the guise of the "War on Terror."

I am not advocating war in any way - But calling Iran the aggressor in all this shows a complete and utter lack of knowledge of what's going on right now.

Jonny, everyone has been threatening Iran, you can't blame them.

Should they be allowed to build nuclear power stations? Yes, if we can, we have no right to say they can't (although for the record, I am against nuclear power)

Should they be allowed to refine weapons grade material for use in bombs? hell no, but then, we still have them.

Should they be allowed to respond to aggressive threats with threats of their own? Too bloody right, I wouldn't allow myself to be bullied.

Specialised radars were installed in Israel and manned by US personell that allow Israel to see whats coming from Iran. Nothing in Turkey will have nything to do with the US / Israel if an attack on Iran occurs.

As I stated I think its nothing more than Iran trying to scare some of the countries in the region into thinking they wuill be attacked whether or not they participate with the US / Israeli actions.

They have threatened to retaliate to an attack on them..
Yes, they get a bit carried away with themselves at times but It wouldn't be nice getting threatened by the US,Israel and Europe etc like Iran have been through..
