This is just in from abc news:

Tensions were increasing early Sunday in Portland, where as many as 200 protesters ignored a midnight deadline to abandon an encampment or face possible arrest.

Occupy Portland protesters dismantled large sections of their encampment amid a heavy police presence on Saturday, but dozens of tents remained after midnight.

The police might be waiting for the media helicopters to go away before they make their move. This seemed to be the case with Oakland. Just a thought...

Lots of lookie loos...........

As long as its peaceful, everything is alright.

I hope all the real protesters understand that Portland Police, are not Oakland Police.

Was that a firetruck they just drove in there?

For possible water attack or something? Towards the stream?

Absolutely. But then again, Portland also has to really strive to improve their public relations .. you know, given the number of people they've murdered over the past 2 years......

They've been targeting the media centers first, to knock out communications (and witnesses) so if I were them, I'd watch out for that fire truck. They can hold a lot of water.

if the firetruck is for anything other than putting out some tent fire... all you'll accomplish is getting people to hate and distrust the fire department... like they hate and distrust the police.

sound thinking
