I hand their karma back at them.

Their is no reason for people with the incomes we pay our leaders, and the expertise at their fingertips, using tax dollars to hire experts in any field, that they don't know what we think is right, good food, wholesome, with good fair trade practices, win win for every coutnry and citizen involved. And that anyhting else would be crimes against humanity on their part and highly illegal, and complete FRAUD for the job we hired them for. Same for religious leaders.

So I've had enough, at playing their games, and simply suggest they really pay attention to true spirituality. And what it really means. They've used substances that are illegal for us, to tap into the spirit world for thousands and thousands of years, advertised in plain site in the Vatican with their pineal statue and egyptian monoliths underneath. I find their trip really sickening.

Also, they don't understand the frequency match. All their atomic, lucifer second sun, energy, their portals and stargates, they open up, all of their harm, they think they're unleashing it on us.

They're not. Its like the movie with Mickey Mouse, and the apprentice sorceror, where the bad guy summons this entity to attack good people, but the entity can't attack good people, so he turns back on the summoner.

Thats the game they're playing.

Matthew 15;11

What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him 'unclean.'"

This doesnt just mean food and chocolate, but christmas trees too!!!!! Its a metaphor. What is inside us, is where our imperfections lie. All this other stuff is crapola.

Your door.. is ajar.

A question. If symbolism is no longer given credence... is the symbolism still valid?

As an example... the swastika.

What was once a symbol representing good luck in eastern religions.. now is associated with nazis and white supremacy.

So can't a tree.. even a christmas tree... just be a tree?

Whats goes around comes around. They like Karma so much. I don't believe in it, or universal laws, or rule of law. I only believe in Virtures, healing and self improvement, and forgiveness, learning for all. Lots of love and humor and gentlessness in the end.

But these guys, these gnostics, like Karma so much, and set themselves up as removed from the masses, and they think they're rightfully in control. Well, the LIES they've been told are very harsh. There is no promotion in the abyss, if they're really attempting to activate their dark side. Its just a jail until the days are up and healing is even possible, sort of like MIRRORs. They made people suffer indignities, torture, pain and death under their control, and they may discover what that is all about. I use the word may because I don't believe in karma and have been praying for their return to the Family and Love and their healing, and support in dealing with issues and crimes that over anyones heads in their enormity.

The people are free, this karma from chocolate to xmass trees doesnt even touch them.

And I renounce all negativity and karma as a system of judgement.

I can trace everything back to Kevin Bacon. Not Francis Bacon, Kevin Bacon.

Nice reply. You're funny. I'm adding you to the friends list.

Who would have thunk it?

I guess only you. An obelisk shaped like Aphrodite? This has completely flown off the tracks now.

1. I contend that the Sumerian civilization was a mere remnant of a greater, technologically advanced society that existed beyond the annals of known recorded history.

2. The traditions have become twisted beyond recognition. "A Canticle for Leibowitz" by Walter M. Miller, Jr comes to mind. Fertility rites... repopulate the Earth.

1. So do I but we are both going to look silly trying to prove it.

2. They have not become twisted at all. They are very clear and cogent. I find it interesting that you say that as I have had my nose buried in much of this stuff lately. Clear as a bell until Iamblichus, as far as I am concerned.

You might have a modicum of trouble jamming Gilgamesh and Adonis together but that should be it.

You might enjoy this thread as well, where we have been hanging out scaring one another...

Christmas trees look more like a pyramid with an illuminated capstone than an obelisk IMO.

Suprised nobody has mentioned it.

Christmas is designed to make you feel bad if you don't part with your money. Emotional manupulation at it's finest.

Santa was invented so that parents can't use the "I can't afford it" excuse to their children. Sure, you can say "Santa can't afford it" which will work fine until your children see that "Santa" could afford it for other children.

The true meaning of Christmas (spin aside) is money, money, money! So why wouldn't a Christmas tree represent what is on the US dollar bill?

It's greenery, in the dead of winter.
Holly, Fir Trees, and all the other trees of coniferous glory.
And they smell good, when you're all cooped up together in the cold of winter.
I say there were many independent reasons for putting up a tree and decorating it.
It's a symbol of rebirth, one way or another. Just when you thought it was going to get darker and darker each day.
Winter begins. And the process reverses.
Spoken from a Northern Hemisphere prospective, of course.

Here is an interesting study about how everything to do with Christmas indeed has Pagan origins:

You know, there are so many horticultural references in the words of Jesus that one might have thought he was a Druid. Just saying.

Oh, hi, Frater210, funny you should mention that. I just returned from Mass at a Catholic church and the Preist that was officiating had a really unusual pattern embroidered on his vestments.

It was wheat. It was like he had a whole sheaf of wheat embroidered there. What do you suppose it means? All these horticultural references; of seeds and vines weeds? What could it all mean?

I love how people always assume that Christians are so ignorant. Most christians actually are very aware that the Christmas tree originally had nothing what so ever to do with Jesus. After all....we do read the NT, nope..no mention of Christmas trees there. What we know is that back during the beginning of the Roman Catholic Church

(which by the way....the majority of your non-denominational Christians, Baptists, Methodists, etc will tell you...we do not in our own little circles consider them "Christians" yes, they are believers of Christ, but, they are Roman Catholic, procedures, systems, laws, where as your typical "Christian" has none of. We simply go to church and our Preacher finds something in the NT, shows us how it pertains to us today and we simply easily follow what Jesus had to say in the NT. No procedures, or systems, just reading and following.)

The church leaders of that time, made the decision that when they went into "Pagan" towns they would explain to them how their festivals actually coincided with the festivals of Jesus himself. This made it easier to convert them. Now, Christians for the most part believe either one of two things. 1. God made Jesus' milestones in life coincide with the Pagan holidays..after all, most of them were adapted from previous ancient cultures themselves, more than most likely beginning with the 3 main starting civilizations...Egypt, Sumeria, and Babylon. So, I could see where God himself would and him being God...could make this occur. After all...during the Exodus..the 10 plagues were a direct attack on the 10 main Gods of Egypt at the time....Basically the story when read and if to be believed was Moses together with God's power showing Pharaoh that the Hebrew God was more powerful than all 10 of Egypt's Gods..making as stated, the "One True God" sooo.. I can see where if this were the true case, that the same would have been done with Jesus.

2. Its believed that none of his milestones coincided with any Pagan holidays and the church leaders simply did as stated.....told the pagans it was so simply to make conversion easier. Also...you have realize that within the NT, the apostles themselves had prayed and made the decisions that pagan people did not have to adapt the Jewish custom because they were of course not jewish. In other words...you did not have to first become a Jew in order to be a follower of Christ. Christ was the new concept..... you belonged..no matter what or where you came from. So, it was okay for them to keep their customs and even adapt new ones because they were pagan, as long as they believed in Jesus it was okay. The Apostles wanted to make it as easy as possible..not because they wanted to get one over on someone..but because these men fully believed that Jesus was the Messiah and you had eternal life in Heaven if you placed your belief in him.....why would someone not want to spread that around?

Any way...my own personal belief is that God can do anything and in my thinking..he could care less about me placing a tree or not placing a tree, ... all he wants is my faith and my love and trust, which he has. This all reminds me of something I read a long time ago, that I actually printed out and I place it on our mantel every year :

www.clarion-call.org...

But, remember, we Christians, we are not so ignorant as you may think, or unknowing nor uneducated, we are simply secure in our faith and are therefore free from the worries that might plague others when it comes to how to celebrate the holidays.

God Bless.

Thank you for the kind words.

- PS I have a statue of Venus/Aphrodite, and a lamp in the shape of an obelisk. One can barely make out the statue on the table in the photo I posted, but the lamp is to the right below the window. The shade used to be taller but became ragged so I trimmed it. It looked more obelisk-like before trimming. Get it.... trimming? Haha. I slay me!

The question here is whether you set up a tree, put decorations on it and admire it for being pretty, or do you get down on your hands and knees and worship it? Because if you're worshipping it then you are participating in pagan ritualism (and that's just fine if that's your jolly). If you're just setting up a tree to have something pretty in the house for Christmas, then it's nothing more than a decoration. It's not fallic, it's not a symbol of God's love, it's not a secret pagan ritual. It's just a decoration. And that's Christmas in a nutshell to most people, it's all about decorations, eating too much and giving and receiving gifts.

While I do not plan on putting up a Christmas tree, I do however have a lamp in the shape of an obelisk, a statue of Venus/Aphrodite centered on my dining room table, and a cat who enjoys sitting on a reproduction of a tablet of Egyptian heiroglyphics in proximity to a pair of Pharoh bookends propping up my zombie movie collection. Who would have thunk it?

And I ride Harleys, have several large tiki carvings out back, Walking Dead is my favorite TV series and I am a follower of Christ. Our belongings don't define us although many seem to think they should
I like the "I Am Second" ad campaign because it shows the many different faces of Christians, many would look more like satan worshippers to those who judge people by their outward appearance.

Same here, commercialism and consumption only feeds
the money machine.
What ever happened to good-will toward all . . .?
All we have now is a war machine in one hand and a ATM
in the in the other hand.
Stop and think as to what this is doing to our planet.

I like Christmas as a holiday, don't get me wrong. Yet this tradition in particular saddens me no end, especially seeing trees left in the lots after the holidays, trees dying on the curbs waiting for pickup ... ??? What a wanton waste of life, but, "at least everyone had a good time over the holidays".

I'm never happy seeing them in the room, it's great when they're artificial.
Good research in the OP, and thanks for the awareness.

here is where your ideals break down from following thoughts through.
If it was not for the tree mkt every year there would not be a need to plant tree farms and the majority of those trees would have never lived at all. So if I was to be sensationalizing also I would have to wonder what you have against trees that you would not want them to be planted and given life to serve your personal ideals. Interesting huh? well, for the record, I serve Yah and I don't do the tree thing. It seems to me as idolitry.

I love the Xmas like I love Thanksgiving it bring my family together over some good food and allows us to share our gifts with each other

That being said I loath Christmas and Santa Claus in particular because I find him to be the father of lies and the whole escapade from black Friday to December 25 to be the one of the great injustices that leads many people to limit their desire to understand and comprehend the realities of their ever changing complex world due to the fact that simple generalized answers will give them the foundations to believe they know how and why things work or that it is just unknowable so why think about it since they cannot find one way / answer to fit everything which bothers many people.

This I belief stems from the realization that every child in this Christmas oriented society must go thru which is that Santa Claus and all his reindeer don't exist. which to a child can have a big effect not only because your parents who a child thinks wouldn't lie to them and has in fact not been truthful to them, But greater still is that the whole of Society has been in on this deception.

This has a lasting impact on some children, that may at least subconsciously cause the inception of the idea that they don't want to know more because would you rather live in a world with Santa Claus who brings gifts to all the children by coming down the chimney after making a list and checking it twice finding out whose naughty and whose nice

Or in the world where their is no santa and its only you and your family

You may say I'm Grinch robbing children of the innocents of childhood and its magical fun, which is dumb because we live on mother earth and she can be a cold hearted B*tch for no reason at all so filling kids heads with lies that serve only to weaken them.

I was under the impression that Christmas trees came from Norse tradition, after all the first Yule trees originated in Germany. The claim that they are Babylonian obelisks seems more than a little out-there. We're talking about a tradition which began in the 1400s in Livonia and Germany, hardly Babylonian.

Now they do get the pagan part absolutely correct but then I see no reason why that matters in modern times. Is the Christian God, assuming it exists, so petty as to take offense to such a benign tradition? Or are you implying something sinister about the tree simply from it being sort of obelisk shaped? I also find the term pagan to be a bit odd, I mean Christianity is based on the brutal execution of an innocent man, it's rituals include pretending to ingest that man's flesh and drink his blood. It's not exactly an elevated position from which to judge other religions and cultures.

The origin and ultimate meaning of various festive/sacred symbols has been lost or convoluted over the millennia. We barely remember coming out of the last global apocalypse. What remains of pre-Sumerian history is cloaked in myth and half remembered oral traditions passed down through the generations from the remnants of those who survived and began to rebuild civilization more than 12,000 years ago.

Purpose can become distorted over time. Meaning is truly in the eye of the beholder.

One person's "Sun-god" is another person's "Son of God". While the two opposing schools of thought battle it out, I am satisfied with the knowledge that neither side's cosmology is a fully accurate representation of reality.
