That is not an American flag, instead of having 50 stars it has a peace sign.
Refresh my memory, how many wars is America fighting?
Peace is great until you grow up and realize the world is not such a peaceful place...

I've seen many Ron Paul signs at occupykc, and even a "Don't Tread On Me" flag being carried by some old guy, but not a single "Kill blacks and jews!", "Embrace communism", "Down with all forms of government", "I hate America", or "Obama 2012" sign.

The fist represents power to the people.
...
The clenched fist was first used by the communists in the Spanish civil war, as a counterpoint to the open-palmed Roman salute adopted by the fascists. The clenched fist symbolises strength and unity - fingers which are individually fragile can together make a powerful fist. It became a symbol of communism and was co-opted to many revolutionary causes, most potently the civil rights struggle in the US and opposition to colonialism in the third world. But it is now so freighted with historical associations - the murky faction fighting on the left in the Spanish civil war, the perversion of communism in the Soviet Union, the tyrannies that emerged in post-colonial Africa - that, according to the socialist historian Sheila Rowbotham, it has become a double-edged symbol. "Even in the 1960s," she says, "my generation used it slightly self-consciously. It was connected to communism and post-'56, [when the Soviet army suppressed the Hungarian uprising] using it made you feel slightly uneasy."

Arguing is useless. This is the propaganda arm at work. You can't bring facts to the table because the people you are arguing with aren't here to learn or discuss anything; they're here only to further an agenda.

I was speaking about occupykc specifically, but I see that some communists/socialists are involved in the protests. Does that mean all of the protesters share the same views? No way.
How about this, go down to the nearest occupy protest one day, and ask a bunch of people if they are communists or socialists. After you take your survey, share your results with us and tell us just how many of them really are communists.

Mr. Stewart is a member of The 99% as he is not a billionaire!
Yeah I've been going up to occupykc lately, and I'm heading up there for the march tomorrow around 3:00pm. Here's my sign:
I am a member of Occupy Jersey City, attend the General Assemblies, been to Zuccotti once ($4 round trip makes frequent visits cost prohibitive) and will go back next week!
