Yes I just looked at the earthquake app on my phone and it shocked me. No damage reported so far.

wow this ATSers dream pretty much predicted it considering it was just a few days ago!

just a little milder than they dreamed...

but hey the soundwave whatever that is, says it was approx M6!

Woah, that's a big'un for Oregon! I wonder if it's connected to the Vancouver Island one (was it last month?) hopefully it's not the sign of stresses starting to show! not much though, im on the coast in oregon so prob bout as close as you get to that epicenter without getting in a boat

i was laying down and felt a very mild shake, i sat up and thought oh that was an earthquake, then i went and looked at a few of the things around my house which hang and notice a very slight rocking in them, so, it really wasnt much to fell, barely noticeable, im sure i wouldnt have felt it at all if i wasnt laying down holding still, if i had been up an active like i was an hr before i wouldnt have noticed a thing

That is about right for that size quake, now a 5.3, some 185 miles from where you are- on the west coast. On the east coast that would have carried a lot further.

Here you can see what M EQ was, best way to know exactly level of M and similar things ..

Earthquakes happen all the time and on a daily basis. I will be interested when we start having the kinds of earthquakes that can rip the planet to pieces. Like 20+ on the richter scale.

Right on the Southwestern tip of Oregon here, and we didn't feel or notice anything pets included. The fishermen didn't seem to mind much either, there were quite a few out fishing away. I was just checking accuweather this morning and debated doing some surf fishing this morning and saw this thread..

If a tsunami caught me down on those rocks, like what happened here a few months ago (tsunami that killed 4 or 5 people and destroyed part of our harbor docks) I'd have to run my ass off to even have a chance.. Luckily we have some tall mountains right nearby us too so I could get high up really fast if necessary.

Kinda spooky though, I love to surf fish... Gets you thinking when you're a 30 minute walk down the beach and out on the point of a big rock.. lol

Today we have very mach earthquakes, last 12 hours and i see all that signals ..

I think unfortunately is not over yet, see similar EQ signals for next 6 hours min ..

Hope graphs and sounds are wrong, measuring some other noise..

they just keep getting closer and closer to california.....

Forget that EQ can be everywhere worldwide, 35th - 38 parallel North is very active ..

Next 15 days be dangerous for pressure on tectonics plate, I post here some info ..

That is only my theory and some others but we are not scientist ..

i've been watching the earthquake map on and off for the last month or so.

the increase in registered hits in europe is astounding. there's roughly 2 in that area every few days or so, now it's completely littered ... something's not right there!
