I am glad to see that so many are supporting the protest, globally.

It is a shame that there are not as many at the Manchester (MCR) occupation yet.

I was looking on the UK Collapse Facebuk page and there seems to be a good atmosphere here. UK Collapse is giving regular updates and answering questions.

Even if supporters show up just occasionally, it gives a great boost to those who are in it for the long haul.

All my love to all who take part and all those who don't. The job will be done quicker if we unite against corruption.

Good luck to all of those there today, hope the police don't get too heavy handed. And if they do, I hope they get some of their own treatment. I would be there with you, but I have a broken ankle and a broken leg, so I'm in no fit state to go get stuck in a kettle. I hear the police are changing into full riot gear, so I don't expect a good outcome.

edit becasue I see this link hasn't been posted, here's where the live stream will be when they get it up and running. Currently they're showing earlier stuff, but they say that it will be live soon, so for live coverage, click this. www.livestream.com...

I hope the police smash them to bits. Can't stand these socialist mugs who believe everything should fall into their lap without doing a single bit of hard graft.

Not many in England give two #s about this two bob protest. Especially not the normal working class. Because everytime something like this does happen, it gets overrun by the left-wing ultra liberal communists as someone else pointed out earlier.

NO ONE I KNOW SUPPORTS THIS. FACT.

By the way, good turn out. Not.

You are so wrong. Thousands of people have turned out with many more on the way. And a majority of those are working class!

Nice attitude by the way...hoping for a violent outcome reveals so much about you.

Peace

How silly do you feel now?

Thousands have turned out for this protest. Yet you paint a picture that no one has turned up. Liar. And you want the police to act violently towards them?

I actually think you should watch what you post on the internet nowadays. Comments such as that could be mistaken for inciting violence nowadays.

Wait until it gets darker, its usually later on in the day when things start to turn. These protests will not achieve a single thing, other than increasing the crime statistics, which is ironic really because these protests are against the biggest criminals in society, yet the majority of people being arrested and brutalised around the world are doing nothing wrong.

The police #ing disgust me. They are protecting these evil people, who actively and consistently defraud people of their money and possessions. They know what they do, they know who they work for, and they have made their informed, conscious choice to side fully against the people of this country. If they put their own career above the people, then they are clearly the enemy of the people.

The trouble is its only a small minority of people who have attended. Most people in this country DO NOT CARE. That is the sad fact, if people cared and were able to make it, they would be there.

I am 'normal working class' in England and you are so dead wrong!

I refer you to my post at the bottom of page 2 of this thread.

If no-one you know is supporting the protest then you are part of the problem because you refuse to look beyond your immediate circle. I feel sorry for you because when the markets crash and the economic woes hit you, which they will. Your immediate circle who are used to treading on other people and looking out for themselves will not help you. The poverty that is to come to you will be a shock and the very ones you have been deriding and laughing at will be the only ones who are prepared.

Do some research and deny ignorance. If you are not here to do that then you are a troll and will not be fed any longer by me.

By the way, communists, liberals, socialists whatever you wish to call us, we are not blind and we wish to change a corrupt system for the benefit of all. Lets make the world a little better by not putting our own wants before others needs.

True, but look at Spain and the US, they started small but the protests have snowballed. We Brits are a reserved lot but hopefully as time goes on more will join in. Bear in mind that msm has only really been reporting the action here for a couple of hours, and so many people i've spoken to hadn't even heard of OWS before.

I just hope the usual suspects don't exploit the situation and turn it into another August kick off!.

By the time enough brits join in to make any impact, it will be far too late. The most vulnerable of society have already been screwed hard up the ass. The safety nets catch less people now, and pay less too. Very few people cared, even though they are indirectly affected. The majority of people in this country care only about themselves, and even though they are hit by the cuts they are still living comfortable lives. It is only a tiny minority who do care.

You are quite right. In the UK this type of thing is hijacked by the Socialist Workers and their ilk, plus a few other diseffected groups who like chucking bricks through MacDonalds. They are often one of the same.

I fear you may be right.

I am at the point now that I am in despair. Christmas is coming I have kids and family who do not share my concerns because they listen to MSM and are so wrapped up in the lives they lead that they don't know what is coming. This time of year is the worst because everyone judges you if you do not give gifts and celebrate a holiday which everyone knows is fake, propagated by government and corporations promote consumerism. I do my best to help and spread the word but it's not working. People do not see what is coming or even the true situation we are in.

I am struggling to cope, I will support the protesters and I will not give up until the lie we live is revealed to all.

I hear they are kettling protesters, this is nothing more than provocation.

As for those who accuse the protesters being idle communists I know a doctor who has taken his holdiay to attend as well as nurses. I don't know one person who is not for these protests.
