I do know there are various unions that have expressed their support for OWS. I believe the Teamsters union was the first, followed by some very large Unions over the last week or so. I would not be surprised if they are paying a small fee to the members that are taking personal time to support the cause.

Yeah that would really pump up the crowd. Better yet, he could come dressed up like the badass guy from Predator, and somehow intertwine the "I ain't got time to bleed" line into his speech.

"You know, the corruption within politics and the secrecy of the Fed has really been cutting away at our American ideals, but I ain't got time to bleed!"

Jesse Ventura is my HERO!!

Finally an elected official that is as angered by the state of things as we are, and has the courage to speak out about it.

Whether this is true or not (and I do doubt it, they certainly would not be in Britain) makes no difference what so ever! It takes nothing away from the cause to end the corrupt system which dictates your future.

Did you know that some people are paid to troll these kinds of sites? (It think you do know) I just want to say thank you to all of them who do because every ignorant post and thread which comes up on here pushes more people out onto the streets because you hold a mirror up to the ignorance so prevalent in society.

Keep up the good work!

Oh and Jesse rocks!! Love him.

Namaste

What Jesse doesn’t deserve to earn a living?

Your point about corporate TV is ridiculous because there is nothing but corporate TV!
He doesn’t have millions like OPRAH to create his own TV station so he as a private citizen goes on a NETWORK to earn an honest living.

No one in this country, unless they live in the woods and lives alone, can avoid corporate America.

Your critique doesn’t make any sense. Jesse is not a monk or revolutionary living in the mountains, but a decent honest politician who while not perfect is trying to give sanity, information, honesty and hope to the American people.

I like Mr. Ventura. He is in my opinion a real independent and one hell of a statesman. I am glad to see that he stood up with the protesters! It shows the depth of his character and the kind of honest person he is.
