Read the list of demands for Congress and read the comments. Some of these are shocking and no matter what anyone says, some are down right Socialistic.

Did you know Occupy Wallstreet - wants to Open our Boarders?

Did you know Occupy Wallstreet -- blames all our problems on The Democrats?

Did you know Occupy Wallstreet - wants to give every person even illegal aliens a Living Wage just for being alive regardless of employment status?

occupywallst.org...

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending "Freetrade" by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.

Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.

Demand four: Free college education.

Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.

Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.

Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America's nuclear power plants.

Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.

Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.

Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.

Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the "Books." World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the "Books." And I don't mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.

Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.

Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or to form a union.

These demands will create so many jobs it will be completely impossible to fill them without an open borders policy.

I wanna know who this guy Lloyd is who wrote this and what his background is. many of these things go against everything this country was founded on.

Are you implying that Soros is somehow a financier of this?

Are you kidding me?

Seems like. Anyone else notice a proliferation of these sorts of dummy sites popping up in the last few days? Throwing the inquisitive types off the scent, as far as I can tell. You'd think they could afford more shill-bots.

ATS lost a BIG TIME investigator into the crap that is Sorros.
That really is a big reason why there has not been the same responses.

But, it is very plain to see that Sorros has his hands in many different pots, one being the down fall of the US markets.

He has proclaimed many time himself to bringing down Govts. It is very well known, and he is not at all bothered by it.

It's really not that far fetched that the open society foundation that Soros founded and funds is a player here, after all they try to break down opressiv governments.

This is from their site:

The Open Society Foundations work to build vibrant and tolerant democracies whose governments are accountable to their citizens. To achieve this mission, the Foundations seek to shape public policies that assure greater fairness in political, legal, and economic systems and safeguard fundamental rights.

The Open Society Foundations

If that's what the NWO is all about, just sign me up

Did you even bother to read the thread? The point of this thread was because I was asking for info or conformation of info that I had heard back when this Day of Rage stuff started. That's stated in the first post. The link to George I have since found comes from here: www.abovetopsecret.com... which is also a post I made on page 1.

So George contributed at least 4 million dollars to organizations that are working with Occupy Wallstreet that we know of. Aside from that there are a whole list of good reasons to be very afraid of the people behind this movement.

How about you bringing us the short version of that list at least?

They want nothing to do with people like Soros and to continually try and connect him to this group is dead wrong as the entire collective sees people like Soros as the enemy of America. The 99% is solely financing this and not one cent has come from the 1% as they will not accept money from them.

Do not dare say Soros or any other Wall Street billionaire is behind this as none of them are.

Go sell this somewhere else. This is a lame arsed excuse to defame this group to demonize them.

The way I see it all this sounds real good on the surface, but there are too many unknowns, like their list of demands. No clear cut goals or plans to bring about those goals. We need to know these things and they Must be in line with our beliefs as Americans and the Constitution and all the principles this country was founded on. I don't see that reflected in the above list of demands. Socialism can look good to many but it would kill many of the things that make this country great. I for one would not like open borders.

There may be ways to fix some of our problems in that list, but it is not agreed on by all that they are all the best way. Many people out there in the streets haven't even bothered to read that list. Many would disagree with much of it. If the leaders of this movement get heard they will tell of their demands and damn if they line up with your convictions or not, they don't care about how everyone else feels, They only care about how they feel. They will have obtained victory riding on the backs of the clueless Americans in the streets. In the morning when The People wake up hoping to find positive democratic change they will only find socialism.

Unless we have better clear cut plans and goals we can all agree on, it looks like things may be heading that way.

Look, I hate to be trenchant, but several of the links on this and other referenced threads provide a pretty substantial money trail. It would be lovely if all this was a spontaneous manifestation of the People's Will, but it just ain't so.

The subsequent efforts to scrub that trail, also alluded to above, might lead one to believe that those responsible for funding this phenom don't wish to be connected to it. Which, if everything were sunlight and rainbow wishes, would not be the case.

Not avowing to know the true purposes of the backers, nor impugning the motives of those who participate.

Just saying.

I support both #occupywallstreet and The Open Society foundations. And I do not believe you speak for "the entire collective".
Furthermore I never said or implied that Soros or the Open Society foundations are behind #occupywallstreet, but that it would be a cause worthy of their financial suport. Hence the theory that financial backing or tech support in organizing from Soros/TOSf isn't as far fetched as other Soros conspiacies I have had the honor of witnessing on ATS.
And I dare say whatever I feel like regardless of your misconception of reality.

So you can go sell your bullmanure about Soros and The Open Society foundations elsewhere.

There is a targeted attack against this movement and you two are falling for it hook, line and sinker.

Groups connected to the Occupy Everything collective may've gotten money from Soros but direct support has not ever been issued, this is what y'all are trying to say in an attempt to demonize and trash this group to somehow spin it to say next that Obama and TPTB are working in conjunction to finance them to confuse everyone.

George Soros' sympathy for Wall Street protesters

He said he understood the anger at the use of taxpayers' cash to prop up stricken banks, allowing them to earn huge profits.

Answering questions during a news conference at UN headquarters, Mr Soros said: "The decision not to inject capital into the banks, but to effectively relieve them of their bad assets and then allow them to earn their way out of a hole leaves the banks bumper profits and then allows them to pay bumper bonuses."
