Just a simple question. What will these Marines stance be when the protest turns ugly and the protesters start destroying private property? Peoples business? Ect?
Don't say it's not going to happen, cause we all know that in all protests there's always a few that are spoiling for trouble, it's just a matter of when.

Hey man, are you going to answer my question?

Or did you lay low for a few pages hoping I would forget?

Why do you keep deflecting the question away from you? At the moment, I do not care about the protesters and what they are doing, I am interested in what specifically the citizens can do to get what we want if you were the leader of a movement/protest whatever you choose to call it.

If you offered an actual solution, please point it out in layman's terms, I acknowledge the fact I might be a little slow and might need it spelled out for me.
Please spell your plan out, give a few specific steps we could all take.

Perhaps people should take a LONG hard stare in the mirror....and stop BLAMING other people, for their STUPIDITY. The former president, himself said....they needed the money....so "financial institutions" aka BANKS could keep lending to YOU. In case you forgot.....this speech by G. Dub, back in 2008, is packed with information, you might want to hear again. The protestors must have missed these nuggets of info, during their slumber. Listen to what the man was saying...then tell me, who's fault this really is? All ye that borrow!!!

I just realized you don't understand your own signature quote.....That is exactly what the protest is against, the arrogance that we(american citizens) are paying for wall street to make money without risk. Isn't that what you said?....doesn't a capitalist make money based on risk? Sorry, missed your point that the common man shouldn't expect something for free, but didn't AIG, Wall Street and a ton of other banks and countries get OUR money for free?....Guess you lost me on your capitalist argument and how wall street is in the 'right' and those soldiers are in the wrong. Wall street took risks to make money, and then looked to us to mitigate their losses. Hey but when a group of people are complaining about their tax dollars going to help another group of people who have cost so many people their life savings, that is wrong and greedy. Yet when the second group sits in front of the first group's elected officials with their hands out....it is good and right, because they are too big to fail....Sorry, still not seeing a difference, try again with the whole they are just doing this for greed argument.

I think the citizens need to understand something along those lines. If the protesters should take things in the wrong direction, the service members, being bound by the oath would be also required to protect others as well. They cannot be there solely for the protesters, they are there for America and the Constitution.

Okay, thanks for filling me in. If they're not in dress uniform or uniform at all, they'd be just we the people. I got lost when you go to the part about the Patriot Guard et al. We're all in the 99% so I don't see American fighting American on this one at all. But that's the flaming optimist part of me. The bloody realist will never forget American fighting American in Wisconsin. That made me weep.

I know the Sons of Liberty Riders are following the developments and ready to join at some point. Their website is always full of interesting stuff, and they are a very active, and almost militant group!

If this thing grows and escalates, we will have tons of groups joining the cause with their own agendas. That is a good and a bad thing. The only thing for certain is the country has been headed down the wrong road for a long time, and a very large percentage of the population wants to see it come to a head and reach a resolution in one way or another.

The current electricity in the country has often been compared to a bar fight just before the brawl breaks out. One silly act in one place, and 10 fights break out simultaneously. It is like a spark that releases all of that pent up energy for everyone, even if they weren't directly affected.

In my mind, I thought it would be another Waco or Ruby Ridge that set everything off. OR, I thought maybe around election time next year everything would boil over. But who knows? These protests could be the last straw for the camel.

heres a thought come up to the answers yourself instead of asking other people what they should be doing

the key to financial prosperity begins with a single step is that what you want to know?

every single person has it within their own power not the govenrments to make them prospoerous first step is what i said "free trade" where risk and reward exists where sucess and failure exists.

get rid of your credit cards start saving money need cash pick up a second job pay off your bills or how about just save money and buy what are necessities not luxuries.

dont buy new buy used any number of things that people can do but nope lets make this topic about what neo would.

well heres what neo has done i have zero liabilties i have zero debt i dont beleive in loans or credit when i want sometihngi i save the cash and then go buy it.

dude not deflection no matter how much you like to think that and like to think my only job is to respond and jump whenever you say so.

for crying out loud dave ramsey makes millions off telling people common sense stuff and if you dont have common sense forget about it.

That is an extremely gray area though.

Destroying private property is fairly obvious, but what about disrupting commerce? Blocking traffic? Breaking other laws? Unlawful protest because they aren't permitted? Jaywalking? Resisting arrest? Failing to Obey a Lawful Order?

So many things these days are illegal, that it isn't clear what is a real protest and what crosses the line. The protestors are already breaking the law, even though they have a Constitutional right to protest, the city says they need a permit, and the city isn't going to permit them indefinitely, or for busy times, or allow them to disrupt commerce and travel.

So, when do the Marines defend the protestors and when do they consider it crossing the line?

In my mind, there is no such thing as "peaceful" protest. If they want things to change, they are going to have to make it happen one way or another.

My point is, when you get rid of your debt, and strip off everything that is wrong and playing their "game" and the atrocities still continue. What next? We still cannot take a picture of a police officer, we still have the education system doing a disservice to our children. We still have mega-corps consuming all the resources. We are still being raped with taxes. Hell, my property taxes went up because it rains, seriously, I pay taxes on water run-off from my property, because my taxes were not used to keep the sewer system maintained like they should have been.

So, how do we take care of these issues? I have asked my officials pretty please do not do that, but they would not hear it. What is next? How do we fix those problems, we have asked and they have ignored us. How do you get people to listen when they are ignoring you.

zero debt, zero liabilities, and you still can't spell...You still don't get it, this is not about one person or one family. This is about how one side of the country is treating another. There are just too many examples to give on how we(america) have bailed out the wall street group to even bother with, considering we all know them. Yet there is not a single incident in which wall street has helped main street....They care about their investors and themselves, period. They took the risks, lost it, and went to the government for aid, that is not capitalistic, that is socialistic. In a true capitalistic society, they would be in the poor house, you take the risk and loose, sucks to be you. Yet those are the same groups that harp on how wrong a socialistic society is and people shouldn't receive something for free....You and they are a bunch of hypocrites. That is one thing a soldier is never, a hypocrite, they do what they say and they say what they do. This entire thing is about the TRILLIONS of dollars that have been sent overseas or 'Lost' (ref 9/10/2001 Rumsfeld speech) and which my great grand kids will still be paying off....It is about the elites not caring a whit about the common man/woman. It is about the brainwashed masses that jump on the bandwagon and allow them to do it.

Well I guess we will see in time...so far it sure doesn't look like the police state pigs are looking to let up.

"Mass Arrests On Brooklyn Bridge 4:35 PM"

Can only imagine how this scene would have played out with a patrol of Devil Dawgs standing in between the police state thugs and the "protesters" (a word that just doesn't sit well with me because look at what they are "protesting"? Our rights? Our Constitution? The fact that our country was stolen out right out from under us in a blatant attempt to destroy us and our REPUBLIC FOR WHICH WE STAND...WE ARE NOT A FREAKING DEMOCRACY!!

Nah....all of the things that are currently being "protested" against should have NEVER HAD HAPPENED IN THE FIRST PLACE!! Lets hope that these battle lines get quickly drawn because I have had it with the attack that has been perpetrated against the country, MY country that I took and oath to serve and protect against ALL enemies BOTH FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC I can only hope that I have Americas best right there alongside of me...and after seeing reports like this, I now have renewed hope that they will be there.

people have these options

1. keep siitting there with the woe its me attitude and complain about it to infinity
2. take yourself out of the "game"
3 profit from it.
4 get yourself elected to office to seek change
5 withhold your vote

your choice

government is the villian for me here always is because every problem we know today was the direct result of government knowing best and the people not knowing jack

no real solution here these are the same arguements that have been made since the creation of this country and every nation that exists on the face of this planet.

I do not disagree. But pertaining to the law. At what point does the law become moot if it either cannot be enforced or there is such an overwhelming civil disobedience against it that in turn pretty much shows that the law is illegal to begin with. What good is a law if a majority of citizens refuse to recognize it as such or even the authority that enacted it.

I am in no way advocating violence or destruction, but on certain places I do not have a problem in breaking a few windows if it should come to that, but I hope if it gets to that it is a thought out plan. Breaking Chases windows is one thing, but breaking Ma & Pa's diner window is a bit to far.
