I didn't read this because there is no good in Satan their for any "defence" is void. He is the father of all lie's so anything he swear's upon in court cannot be considered truthful.

Anyone who even thinks for one second that Satan could be "the good guy" is ether 1) delusional or 2) possessed.

Wouldn't the fact that Satan is testing you, and trying to tempt you to turn from God... make him useful?

That might even shed a postive aspect to his being...

Especially if said "horned dude with a pitch fork" exists in the first place

You would have to be really ignorant to think he looks anything like that in his original form in the real world. The fact of the matter The Bible actually says he was one of the most beautiful angels before he fell from heaven.

And i don't find a tempter useful, i find it rather annoying, that's why i would rebuke a tempter rather than allow it to keep tempting or testing me. Saying that their will always be temptation in life, the best i can do is try and avoid it.

Right. Satan is the one standing in the temple, claiming to be God. The one you call, God, the one I call, Satan.

As a child I was sent to a Catholic kindergarten. I then went through 8 years of parochial grade school, and then on to two Catholic high schools. The main impression that I got throughout those 12 years was an overriding sense of guilt and shame. I remember the nuns in my grammar school lied to us, and threatened us on many occasions. They threatened us with a “spanking machine” that they said could inflict terrible punishment if we got out of line. If we got caught talking or laughing, we were told that the nun would fasten our lips together with a safety pin. Being a first or second grader that was pretty terrifying stuff to hear from an authority figure. That was in 1959 – 1960, and would certainly not be tolerated in schools today. I remember in my first year of high school (1968) I was given a lash by the assistant principle who wore a thick leather belt for corporal punishment. I still remember my head spinning when he struck me with it.

I also remember the pedophile priest who tried seducing every altar boy in our school. When I was 12 years old, he asked me into his room at the rectory to view porn. He made it clear that he wasn’t referring to Playboy either; he had real hardcore porn that he wanted to show me. He also used money given as donations to take several altar boys out for trips to the beach, dinner and a movie – all in one day. I know because I went on a couple of occasions. He had no problem drinking hard liquor in front of us and even advised us to drink a glass of milk before drinking hard liquor to protect our stomach lining. Isn’t that contributing to the delinquency of a minor?

Let’s not forget the Crusades and Inquisition. Wow, the Popes sure were on a roll there. And has anyone ever studied the sordid and debauched lives of the Popes? From my perspective, the Catholic Church is the oldest and best organized gang in the world. They’ve successfully used guilt and shame to coerce, control and manipulate kings right down to paupers. The Catholic Church has meddled in world politics & finances for its own selfish gains. Is it any wonder that Himmler organized the Gestapo on the model of the Jesuit order?

And I won’t overlook Fundamental Christian ministers either. The scandal of so many pastors causing horrible repercussions in their congregations is rife. While a committed Christian in the 1980’s almost every pastor and evangelist that I looked up to were accused of being involved in sexual misconduct, tax evasion or drug use. I remember one Catholic priest being busted for using church offerings to support his crack habit. BTW: that pedophile priest in our parish was charged with several counts of sexual misconduct with minors and the Diocese of Orange, California had to pay out huge settlements to make amends to those that had been abused by him.

My point in all this is that not only has Jehovah been a cruel & vindictive tyrant, but his representatives on earth have been too. If Jehovah actually has the integrity, love and mercy that the Bible claims He has. Wouldn’t He clean up his act and the acts of His ministers? Why claim one thing, then do something diametrically opposite?

This is the true Christian spirit, the teaching of Jesus, to knock over the tables of the money changers in the temple.
People need to not be afraid of these people and speak their minds.
This is what Jesus meant, in my opinion, when he said, pick up your cross, to tell the truth, consequences be damned!
This is how we make the world a better place, by refusing to feel ashamed because we know in our hearts that we are good people, no matter what accusations they throw at us because we know that is the very definition of the Devil.

Well, even so the bible says alot of things. Thats why i ended up leaving christianity in my confused past, no one should do anything that they aren't conformable with. When i felt like i didn't belong i felt as though i wasn't meant to be there. My life has been way better and Ive been alot happier then when i went to church, and that's the way im going to keep myself under the guiding, caring eyes of Satan

When i felt like i didn't belong i felt as though i wasn't meant to be there. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian, in-fact its likely you was never a Christian to begin with.

So many people are fooled into this way of thinking and it really is ignorance on there part.

I have been doing plenty of reading. I have come across the Legend of Enki and Ninhursag. Unfortunately it describes how he sleeps with his sister, Ninhursag, then his daughter and then his Granddaughter.

If you believe and want to worship Enki, please understand you are potentially endorsing incest and possibly child molestation and rape.

I was shocked to read this BUT as I am very open minded I am not surprised to have come across this info.

Still working out the puzzle but last night it took a turn for the worst.

I see you point, but i dont in a way. There is plenty of cases that include incest, rape, blood sacrifice, e.c.t. I guess that everything has its flaws, and that NOTHING can be perfect.

Many believe that Lucifer/Satan/Enki is Baal or Ptah. I believe that there is that possibility but its unlikely that anyone will know for sure, until the time comes.

And Yes, I believe the Lord God asking Abraham to sacrifice his only son was Evil. The Angel stopping him wasn't. I believe the 'God' that gave Moses the commandments is not the same 'God' as the one telling Abraham to kill his only son.

The depictions of Baal and Enki are the same.

I am just informing you because we were on this same journey together but in light of this new info I can no longer be in support of Enki. He may have saved the human race but in doing so he also put in place measures to ensure population control. So it is merely for his agenda to have saved us.

I think these beings are ET's and they have a different set of rules. Rules that don't and shouldn't apply to us Human beings. I would be careful about the 'worship' of a being we don't fully know or understand yet.

If you still support this then you are everything the true Evil wants in someone. I don't really believe you are that person.

P.S. Don't worry. Genesis has massive flaws. Particularly the accounts of Cains lineage and Seth's lineage. Both ending up with Methusael and Lamech and including Irad/Jared, Enos/Enoch...and the flaws go on.

IMO. Nothing can be worshipped. Everything is questionable. Even Jesus. If you need to worship anything worship the planet that gives you the air you breath and the water you drink and food you eat.

But I suggest worship nothing, love everyone and live in respect for your Planet. The quest continues......
