Wake up from the false left vs right paradigm aka Divide & Conquer tactics, Republican & Democrat, Liberal & Conservative are PRODUCTS that have been created for the masses to give the illusion of choice in the Political arena. They no longer exist as they did when the founders were around.

The SAME Agenda has been in place for years, call it conspiracy, New World Order / Illuminati / Bilderberg whatever... but it has controlled & infiltrated and Paid for both sides of the the Political Agenda through "Think Tanks", Lobbying groups, Corporations, Privatization of the Central Banking Cartels and so forth.

Stop getting distracted by the R vs D aspect, behind closed doors there is ONE party, agenda, way of doing business.

Obama is a Puppet doing exactly as he is told, just like Bush and those before... The Last President who openly spoke out against the Conspiracy and tried to shut down the Federal Reserve was eliminated. Since then not one has stood up, they tow the line, because thats the deal they are given for the "power" to become a Puppet and spokesperson to Millions of sheep who will follow and not question for the most part

as long as people keep believing there is a difference then they win, they have the population fighting over it while we are all lead to the slaughter and scammed

Okay, I just woke up... Democrat and Republican both sh*t. I agree. So does this mean now humanity can agree that equality, peace, love, and the environment are where our priorities should be?

I'm so sick of this "false left/right paradigm" mantra. It's great and cerebral and intellectual, but the fact is, you talk to people on the street and it doesn't matter -- they still hate gays, or they still hate muslims, or they still think we have no responsibility to take on the destruction of our environment and the pollution of the planet. They still have no sympathy for people who are sick or unemployed, but they still support the super wealthy who they feel deserve special government assistance in the form of tax breaks.

No politics... let's just agree to be decent human beings yes? The fact that one party leans toward all these things more than the other... Does it matter in the false left/right paradigm? Does the false left/right paradigm matter when these people still lean towards ignorance and greed?

Wake up and see that there is a very real division of morality here.

You are sitting there saying that America has been in economic decline since 35.

the truth is, America was not as powerful or rich as it is now, that's a fact.

An oligopoly is much like a monopoly, in which only one company exerts control over most of a market. In an oligopoly, there are at least two firms controlling the market.
Investopedia explains Oligopoly

The retail gas market is a good example of an oligopoly because a small number of firms control a large majority of the market.

What insult is that?

I may not agree with his libertarian views but at least he speaks pretty straight-forward and deservers credit.

If the mainstream media actually gave him a chance, the man would shine with flying colors. He has made bernanke look like a total fool many times and I must admit I like that. He is against globalisation more than obama.

Democrats also suck.

But I have to laugh at all the bots on here defending the RNC. I bet you would claim to not be partisan, too.

Pathetic.

In the pursuit of denying ignorance

Don't you ever get sick of that mantra?

I like it personally myself. Do you ascribe to the opposite position?
You blaming everything on a communist plot has stifled your ability to make a
genuine argument.

I understand that the Hegelian philosophy was embraced by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, who co-wrote the Communist Manifesto. That is a fact of matter. I don't make up stuff like that. I know that Marxism spread, and that Progressives embraced the philosphy. To be fair, Bush Jr is 3rd gen Bonesman, and I've posted that more than once. Skull and Bones is a Yale fraternity, a secret society, whose members often go on to join the CFR. This is also fact.
Hegelian dialectic is a method of pitting one argument against an opposing one. The conflict of the OPPOSING views produces a synthesis.
Antony Sutton says that this philosophy was brought to Yale by individuals who went to the University of Berlin and imported the idea. That also is fact. Sutton was a research fellow at Hoover. www.hoover.org...
Sutton exposed Skull and Bones after receiving a packet that had some documents involving the secret organization.
Sutton says that European bankers financed the Bolshevik revolution and Hitler too. I am not saying that banks and corporations are without fault or even evil, but I am also saying that Marxism is an attack against Capitalism, while communists and socialists alike have benefited from the financial support of said institutions.
This is why I have no trouble at all implicating the Socialist financier George Soros in the destruction of currencies, and in the protests against Wall Street.
People mistakenly say that the two opposing sides are exactly the same, but this is to misunderstand the process of the dialectic, which philosophy itself came out of a leftist ideology.
Sutton says that the resulting synthesis of the pitting of the two opposing sides is the New World Order, and it is neither right nor left. Today we do see a blurring of the lines of demarcation between the parties. People call this "centrist", or moderate. Hence we have a John McCain who has an R back of his name, but espouses a lot of liberal ideas. We have a Barack Obama with a D, who is mostly leftist but pretends to be centrist, but he stands to make a lot of money from the manipulations of the BP Oil disaster, and pays off all his Union friends and pals and people who voted for him with taxpayer money, but his social ideology is clearly Progressive. He has Marxist ideology, radical friends like Ayers and Van Jones, mentors like the Communist Frank Marshall Davis.
So you see, it's not that the left and right have no differences, it's that the conflict of the two produces something neither right nor left. Sutton says the Elite use "conflict management" to achieve their goals.
I am fully aware of the degradation of the Republican Party, but I still hold to conservative/Libertarian ideals.

Yep, all Republicans and Conservatives are Satan's Spawns.
All want to kill brown people, make grandma eat out of the neighbors garbage cans, give babies M16s and chant "USA USA USA" at NASCAR events.

How original...

So, you would consider yourself a fan and defender of the Republican Party?

Really?

For all the republicans on this thread writing about how we need to preserve capitalism and the such.

You guys do realize that capitalism, by application, is just another name for feudalism.

That's right, what you guys are defending is an outdated way to distribute and manage capital. The nobels have all the money and is part of the reason why the gap between the rich and the poor is widening.

Think about it.

Reagan speaking against the Republican Party

Here is some vintage Ronnie Reagan...when he was a Democrat. Same old same old. All that has changed is his party affiliation. Enough money can even buy a really good actor.

Highlights:

"This is Ronald Reagan speaking to you from Hollywood. You know me as a motion picture actor but tonight I'm just a citizen pretty concerned about the national election next month and more than a little impatient with those promises the Republicans made before they got control of Congress a couple years ago.

I remember listening to the radio on election night in 1946. Joseph Martin, the Republican Speaker of the House, said very solemnly, and I quote, "We Republicans intend to work for a real increase in income for everybody by encouraging more production and lower prices without impairing wages or working conditions", unquote.

Remember that promise: a real increase in income for everybody.
But what actually happened?

The profits of corporations have doubled, while workers' wages have increased by only one-quarter. In other words, profits have gone up four times as much as wages, and the small increase workers did receive was more than eaten up by rising prices, which have also bored into their savings.

For example, here is an Associate Press Dispatch I read the other day about Smith L. Carpenter, a craftsman in Union Springs, New York. It seems that Mr. Carpenter retired some years ago thinking he had enough money saved up that he could live out his last years without having to worry. But he didn’t figure on this Republican inflation, which ate up all of his savings, and so he's gone back to work. The reason this is news, is Mr. Carpenter is 91 years old.

Now, take as a contrast the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey, which reported a net profit of $210 million after taxes for the first half of 1948; an increase of 70% in one year. In other words, high prices have not been caused by higher wages, but by bigger and bigger profits.

The Republican promises sounded pretty good in 1946, but what has happened since then, since the 80th Congress took over?

Prices have climbed to the highest level in history, although the death of the OPA was supposed to bring prices down through "the natural process of free competition".

Labor has been handcuffed with the vicious Taft-Hartley law.
Social Security benefits have been snatched away from almost a million workers by the Gearhart bill.

Fair employment practices, which had worked so well during war time, have been abandoned.

Veterans' pleas for low cost homes have been ignored, and many people are still living in made-over chicken coops and garages.

I hope you read the entire thread before coming to a conclusion. Those of us of a conservative view have endured endless nasty remarks and insults ranging from being ignorant to being bots to being concerned only about corporations.
Greed is everywhere, and always has been present. Anyone who thinks greed did not exist before official parties evolved is kidding themselves. Greed does not belong to Republican or democrat, to Marxist or to Capitalist. Greed is a human condition. In fact it is one of the five poisons in Buddhist teaching.
It is not sensible for people to blame Republicans for all the greed of the world and all corporations, or to blame corporations for all the world's problems, but it is equally foolhardy not to look at the power of corporations to influence govt.

Yes, everyone, we all know that the right-left paradigm is BS... partially manufactured to keep us fighting each other instead of the wealthy/powerful elites. HOWEVER, we must not ignore or forget that, even WITHIN the paradigm, there are lesser evils. And everyone I've ever met with an impressive intellect has, 90% of the time, realized that Republicans are the WORST and Democrats are the LESSER evil. Does anyone I know feel that Democrats AREN'T corrupt too? HELL NO. We all know that Dems are corrupt, but... just AS corrupt/beholden to elites?? No, not quite.

Dems are a bad option, yes, but Republicans are a TERRIBLE option.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO VOTE REPUBLICAN, and only very LITTLE reason to vote Democrat.

VOTING REPUBLICAN BECAUSE YOU'RE SICK OF DEMOCRATS IS LIKE VOTING FOR SATAN HIMSELF BECAUSE YOU'RE SICK OF HITLER

I love your thinking.

I am seriously wondering if there is anyone who might qualify as the peoples candidate who we might write in?

We still have time to rally support.

You seem to have missed the point. My comment had nothing to do with ones political affiliations.

I was merely observing the irony of telling someone you dont want to debate with them because they are insulting, while being insulting yourself.

You think you are an environmentalist when you HATE CO2, something which ALL OF NATURE NEEDS?...

That's probably because you, just as the op are ignorant on what a true Republican is.

Do you hate Ron Paul that much?

You want to know what a real Republican is? read the Constitution of the United States.
Unfortunately much of the Republican party has been hijacked by former Democrats/Progressives, or were bought off by corpocrats.

Unfortunately these days the mayority of the Republican Party does not represent Republicanism anymore, but it doesn't mean Republicanism is evil. The American people have just forgotten, or have been brainwashed into forgetting what Republicanism is.

Just like the mayority of Ameircans have forgotten, or have been brainwashed into forgetting what The Republic of the United States is, which is NOT a democracy...

Sure I get that. My point is that when you go through the thread, you see the pattern of insults coming from certain people.
One thing I learned in the Tae Kwon Do Do Jang, you can fight or you can be beat down. Which side of that would you want to be on?

From the denials of global warming and man's impact on the environment, to their constant loyalty toward corporations and support for war in oil rich nations, blind nationalism, hatred and distrust of outsiders, while always saving judgement and cynicism for the poor, the needy, the sick, the peace loving, and environmentally conscious. Does the mainstream republican base rely solely on a mixture of ignorance and greed?

There is something extremely disturbing about this hive mentality. In fact if you notice in debates and other discussions... republicans who do not embrace the hive mentality are shunned from the group.

I don't understand how any free-thinking, socially conscious person can embrace this twisted mentality? In order to support today's Republican party must a person also embrace Ignorance and/or Greed?

As compared to... what? The Free Sh-t Army?

And speaking of "hive mentality" ... who is doing all the free sh-t rioting?

And please, keep your "Groupthink" away from me. I don't want any part of your dumbocrats, nor do I want any part of the repukocrats. I want to live as a free man. I don't want YOUR government pointing a gun at my head telling me that I WILL pull the fruit of my labor from my pocket and spreading my labor to those who will not sweat. If I want to help the poor and sick amongst us, that is my business ... not the business of YOUR government.

You would think, that after 200 plus years of our government legislating our lives, they would run out of things to legislate. But then again, people like you and those in our government are innovative and will put our lives under a microscope to squeeze every bit of life out of us.

Most people, like you, do not want liberty. If the government had a sense of humor, it would give it back to us just to watch most people fall on their faces and demand the government replace their chains.

And by the way. Stop driving your car. Tear down your house and return the land to pristine conditions. Stop using electricity. Stop using anything that requires the mining of mother nature. Sell all that you have and give to the poor ... then I will take you seriously ... like Al Gore.
