Excellent video montage of Iraq veterans speaking out on the war.



Only seen a few of these as their own individual videos, but the production of this montage is outstanding. Watching videos like this always comforts me with the realization that there are conscious beings fighting against the destructive practices of the military complex of the United States. The soldiers' examples of putting Americans into the shoes of the Iraqis leads one's imagination to run wild on what it would be like to be occupied. Simply love the fact that humans are becoming increasingly connected by technology so videos, speeches, and groups (like Iraq Veterans Against the War) can be created and spread throughout the world.

The fight against evil has been a pretty tough and long battle, but hopefully with the increasing ability to enlighten the world of horrible atrocities instantly, we as a species will finally overcome end the battle against our greatest enemy, ourselves.

although this video is incredibly sad, i am glad this information is on the internet because i worry that people outside of america will think american citizens support the actions of the american government. i want people world wide to know that i do not approve of the things the US military is doing to people.

i know it is our responsibility to try to change this situation but voting and voicing our opinions to an uninterested mainstream media hasn't worked yet, and ultimately i don't think the US government cares about the feelings of US citizens.

thank god people from around the world can see these videos and understand that the american people largely do not approve of their government's actions.

I wouldn't worry about that.I know a great deal of people here who appreciate that American Political policies are not a true and accurate reflection of the wishes of a large number of the American people, unfortunately though there are those who either will not or refuse to look beyond the MSM for their "information"

Worldwide,we are probably more alike as a race than TPTB would wish us to realise,one day we'll all band together and fight the madness,one day.

i agree completely! and the thought of one day uniting with my global community against our oppressors gives me chills! our strength is our numbers!

and thank you for mentioning a perspective on those who reside outside the US. any time i see the news on television (a rare occasion!) it makes me sick thinking how others around the world must see americans.

i truly admire the ideals america was founded on and it's too bad to see all of these alleged principles fall to the wayside in favor of filthy money or oppressive manipulation.

A truly great video, that made me cry with both sadness & hope.
It seems those with a conscience will find their way.
For the others, the all mighty dollar will always be their guiding light.

JFK made a great speech about how the televisions Mainly the Media will effect every human being. We base our lives on what they say. I mean what they are paid to say, and not say. Diseases of all sorts are not NATURAL, EVERY!!! Diseases can be prevented with the right information from birth. Instead we believe we can Eat whatever, Drink whatever and Smoke whatever and not have any consiquences. Your mind can be boosted by 20% just by eating the right foods, 15% by daily educational exercise. BUT HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE TOUGHT THIS?????? instead they want to know, WOULD YOU LIKE FRIES WITH THAT HEARTATTACK!!!

It is so important that we, Americans, listen to these brave people who dare to speak out about the truth of the wars our government continue to thrust us into for financial and political gains.

Darrell Anderson was the first video I saw and it touched me and everyone in my family in a way I've never been able to forget. It amazed me to see the strength and willingness to throw yourself on the sword, to admit you saw and took part in acts so heinous, all for the betterment of people in general. Not just for Americans but for the people we go to war against.

I am glad some people have the courage to take this risk: speak out against False Terrorism and profiteers of war.

This, along with the people who videotape it (and spread the word) should be held up on a pedastal, commended, and most importantly PROTECTED for doing what is right: Standing up for the truth

I know that some among the troops here, have still expressed that they consider the GWOT justifiable.

I hope they're watching.

I am going to continue to risk provoking the anger of those among the American military who still somehow believe that these wars can be condoned. I will do so not only for the sake of the occupied countries, but for the troops' own sake as well. The lives of both, if it is at all possible, must be saved.

What we do to people in other countries, we ultimately do to ourselves.

It's interesting to observe completely different site community sway of opinion on this.

I first saw some of these troops on LiveLeak, and was rather confused with all the abuse from the several thousand commentators. "Un-american fags" and "Pro-socialism cowards".

Rather superior responses here. I guess it takes one to be more aware of the inner workings and reasonings around " the war" , something a little more than "Taliban 'dun blew up".

great video, the clips of Obama in the beginning saying what he would do if elected, then what he actually did do when he was elected are something that everyone needs to see and let it soak in for a moment.

Because it's not human instinct to kill other humans that haven't wronged you. The only way they get men and women to do that is to break them down in BC, and then to sell them lies. It's quite shocking to see these Iraq Vet's speaking now that they've come to the realization it was all a lie. Very powerful video.

Have you not seen the protest? The countless people doing everything they can in their power to stop the war? The cold reality is.... The government does not care what our people want.... and stand up or not ( We have been standing and fighting,for a long time) the government stops only when it wants to stop...

This is nothing new.... This thing became another vietnamn.... Hey, people stood up all over the world ( Especially in the US) trying to stop that one.... Yet again... the government stopped only when they wanted to..

so don't ask me where my humanity is... My humanity has been growing more and more every day.

You say you defend America, but you clearly don't get it... Governments start wars for money... Governments end wars when there is no more money to be made....

The people are not America...We just live here... We do what we can to survive... get by.. and even to control our out of control government.... Just as any other country does......

Just putting this out there, Call Of Duty i would say is perhaps the biggest influence on a kids thinking and life, making him want to join the military. I would say that because i wanted to join so badly until i realized that, no one likes waking up in the morning and going out to kill people .

Kids think its cool to go out with a M16 and kill some "terrorists". TPTB have made a system which gives them an almost endless supply for soldiers as long as the truth is hidden.

Being a combat vet myself, I have plenty to say about this, but for personal reasons I don't want to post my opinion due to the ill mannered post I would write that would probably get deleted. All I can say is that we as in vets need to stand up, and go kick in the doors of these politicians, and drag them into the streets. Do the same to them, as what we were made to do to those innocent people. To give these suits the same shock and awe they want to instill in others.
