Yes, and laws do not stop people either. I do not use the drug myself, but I would have no aversion to anybody using it responsibly.

Government's should not be allowed to do this, but they do. Big pharma has so much money and power behind them and governments do their bidding.

There's still trees to cut down.
And pharmaceutical companies are making a killing.... Literally.

I think, for the most part, that Marijuana was the first thing that made me question wether the government really has your best interest in mind or not. So many people have been inprisoned for using this - especially in the U.S. In Canada, most cops will look the other way unless you get busted with like an ounce or get caught selling it.

Marijuana and Hemp are not the same.
Though they are the same species of plant, Hemp has lower levels of THC and is grown for its oil, seeds and fiber.
