A lot of information is coming out about Anders Behring Breivik, the man that went on a killing spree in and around Oslo. The information is scattered around this forum and the internet and it can be hard to find the individual pieces of information.
So this thread is an attempt to compile some of it together so people can create an informed opinion based on the available information.

Born 13 February 1979, is a Norwegian citizen and the self-admitted perpetrator of the 2011 Norway attacks.
Anders Behring Breivik, 32, admitted to carrying out both attacks, which he described as "gruesome but necessary".
At least 93 people were killed in the attacks - 96 have been injured and some are still missing.

Anders Behring Breivik was arrested on the island of Utøya after surrendering to the police.

From what I understand, Anders Behring Breivik planned this attack to stop the "islamification" of Europe and Norway, hoping that his cruel actions would start a "National and pan-European Patriotic Resistance Movement".
He started a little farming bussines to be able to get large amounts of fertilizer to create a bomb.
He somehow placed this bomb in a car and let it go off in a busy district of Oslo, Norway with a lot of government buildings and the prime ministers office. The bomb attack killed 7 people and wounded many others and left an enormous amount of damage to the district.

About 2 hours after the bombs went off he arrived at the island of Utøya where an annual political conference was held by the youth department of the Norwegian Labour party.

Anders Behring Breivik arrived there dressed in police uniform, he could get access to the island by saying he had an official announcement to make about the Oslo bombing.
According to multiple sources he had a bag with him with a hand gun, an assault rifle and a very large supply of amunition.
He gathered a crowd around him by saying he had an official announcement to make and started shooting at the 560 people on the island who where mostly children under the age of 18.
He could continue his killing spree for about 2 hours until he surrendered to the police teams that arrived on the island.

It is now being reported that special forces did not arrive until 95 minutes after the gunman began massacring people.

As far as I know he confessed to be responsible for both the attacks but it is not fully clear I think.
Police do not rule out that there might have more people connected to the shooting and the bombing.

Anders Behring Breivik wrote a manifesto that was published on the internet as a written document and as a video.
This document is quite extensive and according to Anders himself was written over a period of 9 years.

I’ve spent a total of 9 years of my life working on this project. The first five years were spent studying and creating a financial base, and the last three years was spent working full time with research, compilation and writing. Creating this compendium has personally cost me a total of 317 000 Euros (130 000 Euros spent from my own pocket and 187 500 Euros for loss of income during three years). All that, however, is barely noticeable compared to the sacrifices made in relation to the distribution of this book, the actual marketing operation.

This document was meant to be given, or was given, to 7000 of his facebook friends across the world. I have not come across any information that people recieved this document.

After years of work the first edition of the compendium “2083 – A European Declaration of Independence” is completed. If you have received this book, you are either one of my former 7000 patriotic Facebook friends or you are the friend of one of my FB friends.

The introduction to the document ends with this quoted text below.

It seems to suggest that there are "several leaders of the National and pan-European Patriotic Resistance Movement". Maybe there is a "National and pan-European Patriotic Resistance Movement" or maybe this document and his actions where meant to start one.

The document also contains a large portion of information about the "crusades". It just strikes me to see some of the symbols, that were used by knight orders in these crusades, so prominently displayed on Anders Behring Breivik clothes and uniforms he is wearing in the following pictures.

I did not read the full document and I am not sure I ever will, I did have a brief look at it and it seems to cover mostly the history of the islam trying to conquer the world and bring it under Sharia law, according to the writer.
Here a little summary by the writer:

Anders Behring Breivik had a facebook page up during the time of the attacks and was only put up several weeks before the day of the killings.
There is also talk about a facebook page that he owned before this one, this could well be true as he mentions facebook himself in the manifesto as a tool to send his manifesto to his "friends".
I would very much like to see screenshots of that account, so if any one has a link then please post it.

On his last facebook account it said freemasonry is among his interests. A picture of Anders Behring Breivik dressed, in what looks like, freemasons clothes is floating around the net.

Breivik listed as one of his interests freemasonry and was himself a Freemason.[19] He had shown photographs of himself in Masonic regalia[20] and was a member of St. John's Lodge in Oslo.[21] After the attacks, his lodge said he had only minimal contact with them and they suspended his membership.

Some of the pictures of Anders Behring Breivik, found on the internet, look very staged, or almost like faked.
Here is a bit out of the manifesto that might explain this.
It seems he was very serious about the way he presents himself to the world.

If he spent 9 years compiling this manifesto then he started when he was about 22 years old. The "problem" of the islam, described by Anders Behring Breivik was not such a known and "popular" view in the mainstream thinking at that time.
Did he started noticing these matters himself 9 years ago and start compiling them, or was it more like he was groomed into this way of thinking, at such a young age ?

Some people cannot understand that he would kill his own people if his purpose was to oppose a covert muslem invasion.
As far as I can see, he sees the socialist parties as one of the causes of these problems therefore he feels justified to kill them off to protect Europe and Norway.
That is what I make of it.

If someone somehow thinks I sympathise with Anders Behring Breivik's views and actions than please have a look at the thread I posted in my signature.
I only support peaceful non violent resistance.
And I stand for full basic human rights of any human and freedom of religion.
Just wanted to say that to avoid any confusion as to where I stand.

But did he do it alone ?

The tragic terror attacks in Norway display a number of the telltale signs of a false flag provocation.
It is reported that, although the world media are attempting to focus on Anders Behring Breivik as a lone assassin in the tradition of Lee Harvey Oswald, many eyewitnesses agree that a second shooter was active in the massacre at the Utøya summer youth camp outside of Oslo.
It has also come to light that a special police unit had been conducting a drill or exercise in downtown Oslo which involved the detonation of bombs – exactly what caused the bloodshed a few hundred meters away little more than 48 hours later.
Further research reveals that United States intelligence agencies had been conducting a large-scale program of recruiting retired Norwegian police officers with the alleged purpose of conducting surveillance inside the country.
This program, known as SIMAS Surveillance Detection Units, provided a perfect vehicle for the penetration and subversion of the Norwegian police by NATO.

So this Island is essentially a political summer camp for teenagers.

For an otherwise intelligent seeming, if unbalanced, man this target seems like a VERY bad choice of venue. Good for advertizing, bad for his overall message.

Police have arrested three suspects, whose nationality is not yet known.
(This was briefly reported even before the shooting at Otoya broke. They were allegedly picked up quickly leaving the city in an auto after the Oslo blasts. There were initially described as far right/neo-nazi types)

And although all the initial stories said the island gunman was armed with a shotgun, among others, now the media only mentions a handgun and rifle, so I guess the shotgun has disappeared down the memory hole.

He was clearly quite inteligent and maybe realised this approached had been tried and tested but failed and you know what the UK/USA do when threats and talking don't work don't you

What tipped the scales for you? What particular things pushed you to plan the attack?
For me personally it was our government's involvement (engagement) with/in the attack on Serbia (NATO bombing in 1999) several years ago. It was completely unacceptable the way the U.S. and Western European regimes bombed our Serbian brothers. There have been many other cases that have strengthened my resolve. Among them, my government's cowardly handling of the Muhammed cartoons, and their decision to award the Nobel Peace Prize to an Islamic terrorist (Arafat). There have been dozens of other questions. My government and our media capitulated to Islam years ago, after the Rushdie incident. Since then it has snowballed. Thousands of Muslims stream in each year through the asylum, institutions, or family connections in Norway.

What would you say to your European brothers and sisters?
Know that you are not alone in this fight. We have tens of millions of European sympathizers and tens of thousands of brothers and sisters who support us fully and are willing to fight beside us. Name one living person you want to meet?
Pope or Vladimir Putin. Putin seems like a fair and resolute leader worthy of respect. I'm not sure at this point if he has the potential to be our best friend or our worst enemy. He is very difficult to psychoanalyze. I would not want to be his enemy, that's for sure. Obviously, he will have to condemn this [attack]. It's understandable.

If you were to use a word for the ideology or movement that you represent, what would it be?
Cultural conservatism, or a nationalist/conservative orientation known as the Vienna school of thought. As for the political movement, I would describe it as a National Resistance Movement, an Indigenous Rights Movement or even a Right-revolutionary movement.

Are you optimistic?
I am very optimistic. Cultural Marxism/multiculturalism, especially in combination with Islam, will defeat itself. The justification for this claim is that the cultural Marxist and Islamic alliance will not last. When the window of opportunity comes, we must be ready to seize the political and military control of all funds. When the time comes, we must not hesitate. We must risk everything for the chance to get our freedom and secure freedom for our relatives again. I have prepared myself mentally for a very long time and I would like to sacrifice my life for the benefit of my European brothers and sisters.

You said you have pure genealogy?
I am very proud of my Viking heritage. My name, Breivik, is a place name from Northern Norway, dating back to before the Viking era. Behring is a pre-Christian Germanic name derived from Behr, the Germanic word for Bear (or "those who are protected by the bear").

I suppose you wanted to tell your friends about this. Has it been difficult to live a "double life"?
First it was extremely difficult to avoid the temptation to tell your closest friends. I decided however to retain all relevant information. Revealing sensitive information to any of them would put them in a difficult spot, because they would be required by law to report this information to the authorities. It would also pose a serious threat to me if they decided to tell anyone.

What motivates you? How have you managed to stay focused and motivated for more than 8 years? Is it bitterness and hatred against the so-called "cultural Marxist/the multiculturalism wonderful elites," or maybe towards Islam?
No, not at all. If they (the cultural Marxists) against all odds, gave up on multiculturalism tomorrow, if they stopped all Muslim immigration and started the deportation of all Muslims, I would forgive them for their past crimes. If they refuse to surrender until 2020, there will be no turning back. We will eventually wipe out every single one of them. I do not hate Muslims at all. I acknowledge that there are magnificent Muslim individuals in Europe. In fact, I have had several Muslim friends over the years, some who I still respect. This does not mean that I will accept an Islamic presence in Europe. Muslim individuals who are not assimilated 100% by 2020, will be deported as soon as we manage to seize power. Although I admit that I am sick of the current development, I would say I'm driven by my love for Europe, European culture and Europeans. This does not mean I'm against diversity. But valuing diversity does not mean you support the genocide of your own culture and people.

How did you first involved in your current activities?
When I was around 16-17 years old, I joined the Progressive Party's youth organization (FPU), which was anti-immigration and pro-free market. Every journalist in the country considered the party's members to be racist because of their anti-immigration platform. The Progress Party was under constant attack from every media organization, from NGOs and all other political parties. They were called racists and Nazis, and were generally labeled "fascist pigs." The Progress Party appealed to me because I had seen the hypocrisy in society, and I knew even then that they were the only party that opposed multiculturalism.

Around 2000, I realized that the democratic struggle against the Islamization of Europe, and European multiculturalism, was lost. It is simply not possible to compete with democratic regimes that import millions of voters. 40 years of dialogue with the cultural Marxists / multiculturalists had ended up as a disaster. It would now only take 50-70 years before we, Europeans, were the minority. So I decided to explore alternative forms of opposition. But the biggest problem then was that there were no options for me at all. There was no known armed culturally conservative, or Christian, anti-Jihad movement.

seems to me like a long way to go to justify mass murder, and in the end really makes no sense. all this event could possibly do is create more security for muslims in norway, at the expense of his brothers

reading this, you can see how someone who met him described it as like "meeting hitler before the war"

If Breivik is the Fjordman, he has been pretty influential in quite a few anti-Jihadi circles. He may not be quoting Fjordman, so much as he moved his focus away from being an online demagogue into a real life one.

The time line would fit, and it would support his contention about his influence on a number of political groups. Groups who may find this connection uncomfortable if it turns out he is Fjordman.

Breivik was clearly under the impression that he had more support than he really does. That he is part of something that isn't really as "in" as they appeared to be.

Breivik looks like he is intelligent, but someone knew his buttons, and handled him very well to move him towards his natural inclinations. His actions are like popping a boil with a needle before it becomes infectious and spreads.

His trial starts right away. No unfortunate cooling off period like in some other countries. Very nice.

Anders Behring Breivik was a fantasy video game player and just so happens to look and share the same name as a terrorist bomber in a recent 2011 game.
In an extreme case of irony, the alleged bomber and shooter of Oslo, Norway, has a striking resemblance to a video game character developed by Bioware for "Dragon Age 2." Anders Behring Breivik looks like the terrorist companion character "Anders" from the 2011 video game who - get this - also blows up government buildings.

Well now, that's interesting now isn't it.

Perhaps it is the difference between someone being logged onto Facebook, and someone not being logged on? Differing privacy settings, etc.

His list of interests appears to have been not quite right for someone. His real personality, and the crafted one it should be for public consumption aren't aligned enough.

Seeing his original page, kinda confirms for me that I "know" this guy - not IRL, and not online, but just what he is as a person and how he could have been handled to push him in the right direction and just keep feeding that beast. The lack of a family probably played into that, by not giving him a grounding spot outside his constructed world.

New questions:

A second shooter was reported by some survivors.
Initial reports that our “terrorist,” now said to be a farmer with unlimited access to tons of fertilizer to be used to make explosives, has one minor glitch to it. He is an organic farmer and would have had NO access to chemical fertilizer, certainly not tons of it sold to someone with well established ties to extremist organizations. An “invisible hand” seems to be operating here.

The Norwegian Air Force operated/operates 20 helicopters nearby for search and rescue/hostage/counter-terrorism. Even without the high level terror alert status Norway was on because of threats tied to NATO involvement in Libya, marine rescue response would have demanded helicopters be “hot on the pad.” The police “excuse” that helicopters would take too long and driving out in hopes of finding a boat as a form of “counter-terrorism response” is not going to hold water.

The police uniform and credentials, the extremely poor response time, the shooters weapons skills, all point toward too many coincidences.

This is strange, how could it take the police 95 minutes to arrive at the island while there was a rapid response team ready close by for "rescue/hostage/counter-terrorism" purposes.
If there was a bombing of the Oslo city center would you not think this helicopter supported response team would be up in the air only 30 km from Utøya island ?

The police team that arrived at the island, 95 minutes after the shooting started, was said to be delayed because the boat was almost sinking.

The near-sinking of a police boat and a decision to await a specially armed unit from Oslo some 45 km (28 miles) away delayed the Norwegian police response to an island where a gunman killed 86 people.
