I think this is really a non-issue. Bill Maher is a moron to begin with and we can't take anything he says serious.

Obama hasn't been able to get anything done on drugs because it's not a popular issue in polls, and will not be an issue in the next election. So he hasn't spent any time on it.

I think you're all missing the point, by a wide margin.

Maher is saying that if Obama, a black man (or half-black), legalized or decriminalized pot, that people would turn it into a race issue and say things like "see what happens what we put a black man in office, drug get legalized."

What, if anything, if wrong with that assessment? You all know it's true.

I really do not understand what you mean. Do you mean "consistent" in that what Bill says has to match up with what someone else on another network might say? Do I have to match what Bill says? Do I have to denounce or defend it?

If Right Wing comedians were funny enough to have more airtime than Redeye in the middle of the night, these conversations would all be very different.

Na, I disagree. Maher is a moron and I stand by that statement. I have heard, read and witnessed his "comedy" over the years and it's more offensive than funny.

I also disagree that he hasn't done anything over drugs because he is a puppet. Yes, he's a puppet but the drug issue is more about profit than anything else.
