Well, I'll start here...

Bachmann introduced the Light Bulb Freedom of Choice Act, which would require a GAO report show that a change to fluorescent bulbs (CFLs) would have "clear economic, health and environmental benefits" prior to enforcement of lighting efficiency regulations that effectively ban conventional light bulbs.

Global Warming...

Bachmann has charged that global warming is a hoax[60] and has been a vocal skeptic of global warming

That should wake up the Conspiracy Theorists.

Opposition to the Bailouts

Bachmann opposed both versions of the Wall Street bailout bill for America’s financial sector.

Well.....Thanks from an Independent.

"Obamacare"

Bachmann has characterized the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as "ObamaCare", and has continually called for its repeal.

Apparently she takes credit for coining the phrase.

Energy Policy

Bachmann opposes minimum wage increases.[125] Bachmann supports increased domestic drilling of oil and natural gas, as well as pursuing renewable sources of energy such as wind and solar, and is a strong proponent of nuclear power.[12

How's that last one working out for Japan?

Her Wiki Page

Do you think this Congresswoman from Minnesota has even the slightest chance of beating Obama?

She is too conservative. And as far as those light bulbs, there is less poison gas in those small ones than in the big ones you have been used to for years. I don't know why people ignore the obvious.

Oppose minimum wage increase? Say huh?!

I know there is this argument that increasing wages brings stress to employers but come on ... what about the rising cost of everything?

First off...you got the lightbulb thing backwards. She is opposed to the new bulbs.

Secondly, you are only scratching the surface of what is the loony train named Michelle Bachmann.

No, she doesn't have a chance of beating Pres. Obama. She relies on emotional rhetoric and is light on facts, policy or education. She is slightly more articulate than Sarah Palin.

She has tons of crazy in her closet complete with quotes and clips that will sink her as soon as she becomes a genuine threat.

10 Of The Craziest Things Michele Bachmann Has Ever Said

A few of my favorites..
BACHMANN CLAIMED THAT CARBON DIOXIDE IS ‘HARMLESS’:
BACHMANN WARNED ‘THE LION KING’ WAS GAY PROPAGANDA
BACHMANN CLAIMED THAT GLENN BECK COULD SOLVE THE DEBT CRISIS

Romney looks like the GOPs best bet. He will have to explain his Mormon beliefs to the Christian right again and hope to sway them. Last time around polling showed that over 1/3 of evangelicals would not vote for him because he was a Mormon and the Evangelical Christians are needed for the GOP to win.

She wants the GAO to spell out explicitly the benefits of this nonsense law banning regular light bulbs. She is the last one who would vote for something like that.

I would be interested in hearing the governments reasoning as well. These are the same idiots who told us how awesome the "low water usage" toilets were. I'm here to tell you they suck ass. You get more than one square of toilet paper in those things and it ain't flushing.

As to her beating Obama, my damn paper boy could beat Obama unless he starts sh#tting some jobs real quick....

If the American people voted for her i think she would be just as good as Obama bloody useless. It will be thing like Obama being the first black president then have the first female president sorry who cares when they are all slowly copying one man Ron Paul. Every hopeful for that side is copying what he has been saying for years go for the original thinker not the one plagerising his ideas and throwing in their own crap ideas.

My 2 cents worth

I got the light bulb thing wrong.....Sorry

I am trying to leave the recent unfortunate quotes out of the argument.

Technically those "low water usage" toilets do not have the power to "suck ass"...it's more of a gentle wispy breeze on your butt when you flush.

All kidding aside, I have three of them and kids who throw all types of stuff in the toilet and I haven't had any problems. You might have a bad brand.

The simple answer is no.

Bachmann is too much of a Christian Right Conservative to win. Unless our economy completely collapsed by the election she does not have a prayer. People gave the Christian right a chance with George W. Bush, how did that work for you? So I doubt they would be stupid enough to run back into their arms even if they hate Obama. From the polls that I have seen she would even struggle against Obama is the safest of Republican states.

Mitt Romney is the only GOP candidate with a good chance of defeating Obama (besides Ron Paul) as he comes pretty close in every poll. The problem with Romney though is that he is making several of the Southern states competitive. Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Texas in all of the polling I have seen does not break of out of the 'Lean' category. Virginia is looking solid for Obama in 2012. While Romney loses ground in the South he makes up for it in the North.

New Hampshire, Maine, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado, and Nevada all become competitive states with Romney in the race. So Obama would have a good chance of losing several Democrat-leaning Northern states. If it is Obama against Bachmann she would only hold the most conservative of red states and that is nowhere near enough electoral votes to win.

She does not "have" nor did she "raise" 23 Foster Children. She had a liscense to sponsor foster children for 7.5 years from 1992-2000.

She was only allowed to host 3 at any one time. And the time they stayed with her varied, with some only staying a week. They were all teenagers at the the time of their brief layover at her house.

You seem to have been confused by this bit of BS she spun.

Bachman will have to answer for her families extensive of socialist apparatuses here in America.
The various subsidies and hand outs that the Bachmans accept, in practice she is more socialist
Than my messiah the socialist, how is she gonna face up to that? She is taking my money, punishing Billy Gates for his success, he is going to give up and have a two decade long cry in the corner and stop making money, to protest.

just think
the Mayan Calendar ends 1 month
before any new president takes
an oath of office.

The Mayans have already predicted
there will not be another president
by the same token.

talking about all the different people
running for public office only offers a
distraction to the world around us.

The puppets are being dangled in front
of your face like a piece of cheese.

Case in point, it doesn't matter who you
vote for, they all will be working for TPTB
until TPTB gets fired.

First things first !!!

At this time the only Reps who would beat Obama are Huntsman and Romney. Both offer a right of center governing style that appeals to the independents. They both have a large fundraising base in the Morman church, but will be opposed by the wacky right wing Christians. If by chance though, Bachmann or Paul get nominated, there will be warm and fuzzy feelings for the true believers, but a huge electoral and popular vote defeat. Can we say Goldwater!

I would like to believe that is possible for anybody to beat Obama.

I disagree about Ron Paul....I support Dr. Paul. That aside.

Have you ever heard Obama give a campaign speech?

It takes me a full five minutes to remember he is lying.
