The wiki article is just mentioning that John Lear is banned, not Marrs. I understand your confusion though.

Great video by the way, I like Jim. He brings up quite a few of the big questions (albeit well known ones) surrounding 9/11 in that video.

I'm also curious to hear the details of Lear's banning. I have heard of some of his claims, but I didn't know that he posted here.

Jim Marrs is one of the few reasearches that has ALL of my respect. Imo he always puts truth above agenda.

Let's see... He has his own forum here... He wrote a book for ATS... I've personally had dinner and drinks with him on a couple of occasions, as has Springer, FredT and JohnnyAnonymous. I have several books personally autographed by him...

Jim would have to go pretty far off the reservation to not be welcome here... It's not happening...

Yes. That sounds totally reasonable. Self-destruction as a safety feature. Just the kind of thing insurance companies would want in a building. Just like I have a red button on my dashboard that I will press as I'm about to get into a crash. When I press it, a powerful explosive will detonate, shredding my vehicle. That way I'll never be injured or damage my car in a collision. Plus I get a discount on my car insurance; thanks, GEICO.

Really dumb analogy. Your car has air-bags, seat belts, crumple zones, safety glass.

Installing a controlled demolition safety feature is quite genius. If the towers were to have a uncontrollable fire that might lead to collapse or another failed terrorist attack the port aurthority or whoever could atleast control the collapse to minimize or avoid casualities and damage to surrounding buildings.

If it's such a dumb analogy why don't you come up with a better one, or just any documented example of a building with a self destruct "safety feature".

You're proposing that skyscrapers are all pre-set with self destruct buttons, "as a safety feature" and I'm the dumb one.

Far out most of what Jim Marss put there so aptly is exactly how I think about it all.
The only thing new to me is his thought about that key thing from 8:55 regarding reconstructing an aircraft after an air disaster.

To set the record straight he did not propose that ALL skyscrapers are set with self destruct mechanisms. No reason for you to state that he said something that he did not even imply.
