IMO there is an overabundance of completely non productive people. If they were actually responsible and productive, we could actually claim there was no such thing as overpopulation. Just me.. but we are definitely overpopulated with that dreaded label : useless eaters.



Freedom of choice to procreate, huh? Well, I do believe that if it were my actual choice to NOT pay for others decisions of having more kids.. they might decide to have less kids if they see them starving or it may interfere with their chosen way of life. Then again, maybe not.. people are odd. As it is in the US now, there is no consequence for breeding and popping kids out like a pez dispenser on everyone else's dime. How dare there be a stigma attached to this.. bah. In reality, you really have no right to take my money because you cant figure out what your responsibilities are. If you are not getting enough food stamps and etc to care for your kids.. for Gods sake.. STOP HAVING THEM! If we had to care for less we could actually care for the actually deserving of help much more appropriately.

I am a mother of 3. I actually waited to have my kids until I could afford them and spaced them out in order to accomplish this better after I had established my career. I figure if I can do it.. be responsible for my own choices... so can everyone else. Im 48, married, have kids 17, 12, and 5. Do the math. WHen my 12 yr old was about 9 we had things arranged so I could quit my job and we could exist comfortably on one income,still maintained out savings, and I could raise my own kids. It really wasnt that hard to wait and plan accordingly. If you are incapable of something as simple as forethought, youre probably incapable of raising productive members of society, IMO.

For those who cant do without sexual gratification and have multiple "accidents"... there really are ways to get gratification and NOT risk pregnancy 100%. I suggest using google to figure these hidden mysteries out.

To understand why you have to understand that even the poor by today's standard are the wealthy of even 100 years ago. Just because you dont have a tv to watch spongebob on or the ability to feed your children with happy meals doesnt mean you shouldnt have a big family if you so desire one. Im not saying that everyone should go out and have 8 kids, but for those that truly desire a large family should not be held back by GOVERNMENT! Freedom is about being able to make your own choices and if you CHOOSE to go without so that you may have a large family, then who is Government to tell you no?

I have one child, and while right now I'm good with one child, in the future there is a very slim chance I may want one more. But no more than that. I will not have any more than 2 children ever. It is a personal choice, based on thinking about how much I can offer the child in terms of financial support and how much care I can put into raising him.

I think it would be good if people had less children. NOT saying this should be enforced, just saying, it's not like the old days where you needed more kids to help with the farm work and the nearest house was 10 miles away.

Like I said, if you can afford them and provide necessary needs for your offspring more power to you. But if you haven't noticed, people that actually have many kids, such as Octomom, can't provide for their kids. Wanting a big family and not being able to provide is the parents' selfishness and not taking their kids into consideration. Survival isn't the same as living and having a good life.

To think that we actually need to reduce population because some rich asshole decides merely surviving isnt enough for him and his family. Its sickening.

Live and survive by your own hand. If you choose to have more.. feed them or dont, but dont expect or demand that everyone else to do it for you. Personal responsibility for your own decisions goes a hell of a long way. If you want to raise kids who eat one meal a day and its a mustard sammich, live in a tent, crap in a bucket, and grow up not able to compete for jobs... great choices.. but hey, its SURVIVING

Well I'm not a rich asshole but I think survival isn't enough. Also, I don't like my tax dollars going to raise other people's kids. Why do I or anyone else, need to pay for someone else's kids? You make a kid, you pay for them, don't make others pay for them for survival...

How did you make the jump from "people should have less kids" or "people shouldn't have more kids than they can afford" to "killing and sterilizing people"? Very few people want the government involved, that's why a leveled headed person would look at the situation and say, "you know what, I choose to wait to have my first child" or "you know considering the shape of the world at large, maybe I shouldn't have more children, two is more than enough". The government is getting involved though, covertly because people want to have a billion babies to spite the elites which is backward thinking.

And should we not have that choice? Who said that "competing for a job" is the way to success?! This country was founded on entrepreneurs and people willing to risk their lives to make a way for themselves. I care not about some college education. It matters not what school you came from but whats upstairs.

I dont want people paying my way or having to take tax payer dollars to survive. Infact, do away with it let people keep the money they earn. You want to do better for yourself you should have that option. We dont need a nanny state handing money to people that cant find work or cant raise their family. Let nature take its course but DO NOT attempt to play the role of nature.

In the near futre, Hispanics will be the majority in the US and they are the poorest of all races. And most of them are on welfare. I do not want to pay for their kids. Now where is MY CHOICE in that?
