Can somebody tell me where they put this thread?

It seems to be in a category that does not exist.

Do the words "Ten Foot Pole" ring a bell...

I isn't listed where I could find it.

The link is broken on the forum listing.

Not saying it's a Conspiracy....

To me it was the definition of alternative news.

yes the forum name just shows up as a blank name for some reason...been like that since they made the forum a while ago...they used to not even allow threads like this and they would 404 within minutes regardless almost every time...now they finally allow discussion on it but quite a few of these threads get closed but not 404'd so i applaud the mods for finally listening to frustrated people's suggestions regarding these types of threads as I was one of them

I have seen pretty much the same thing.

To me, this story is about a 90 year old veteran that just wants his freedom.

This topic is not going away. These people are being denied inexpensive medication.

Not one reply was even close to disrespectful.

Instead of being afraid of this topic.

I believe it's one of our finest hours...

it's certainly a better alternative than loading them up on prescription drugs that have who knows how many side effects

Those prescription drugs are not cheap.

The side effects are horrible.

I think after your 90 years old.

Something readily available can ease you suffering.

To deny the man this substance.

Should be a crime.

Thank you,

I guess this is the trash.

Ironic how somebody with the Marine slogan in their name.

Could ignore the plight of a 90 year old veteran.

The only thing consistent....Is the inconsistency...

I do not think that has anything to do with it, the Mods are only told what to do by something greater than the members!

Remember, we have our Government infused here, what we say may sway some things, but when it comes down to it they ride the fear-wagon even worse than we do! This is why it is so important to speak what is on our minds so they know that we know we do have power! They hate that!

You know,

After I read the complete "TOS".

I saw where they registered the site.

Maybe they don't like pink jumpsuits or tents.

How much could it be to re-register in California.

They really handicap themselves in Arizona.

That summarizes it pretty well. Those scrip drugs are not cheap for a reason, not a good reason though, it's called profiteering. And to a large extent these non-generic drugs are just a redux of an old formula with a modified molecule or as a combination with another drug to get a new patent and high price. A lot of it is crap for that reason. There are some garden-variety panaceas that work just fine, better even, and won't send the seniors to the poor house.

I would hope some of this madness ends by the time I really hit senior - I am a (relatively) young retiree. but I want the good stuff if I am being crippled with arthritis or some painful chronic disorder. We are better durg educated these days than one hundred years ago when this madness was taking hold. Some things were seen differently then and perhaps not too wisely. Bayer had some different idea about pain relief then -

I need to upload a similar photo I have of another brand of paregoric, that one gives dosages for newborns (5 days-old) through adult. Makes the kids sleep like babies.

Given the Global Commission Drug Policy report www.abovetopsecret.com... we should be discussing how we are going to implement normalizing alt. subs. when that day arrives. ATS is not the place for that discussion though.

I just started building a new web board to give that whole line of thought a good look-over. I'm hoping ATS wouldn't consider that a competitive site and let me include that one in my signature line when I have it ready - perhaps - I have to get their permission yet. They don't mind my mentioning my web board for expat retirees in Mexico.

I would love to check it out.

If you would U2U it I would appreciate it.

I know ATS is not the place for it.

But, try to have an intelligent conversation on another board.

I still believe we should be able to address stories like this.

I saw nothing but classy answers.

If not the "Free Thinkers"... WHO ?

I would hope that we shall soon regularize all matters dealing with alternative substances rather than dramatize them.

They say you can discuss these issues a million places on the net.

To this date I have never seen these issues discussed with such intelligence.

I found a group of people smart enough...

Now we can't have a broad audience...

A 90 year old veteran...

A very sad day in America.

Thanks for the visit.

We don't get many guests down here...

I expect the retirement community's Association imagines if they permit the legal use of medical cannabis among their residents it will eventually become like the grand institution of alcohol consumption, popular pasttime and the centerpiece of social interactions welcome at any celebration.

Let the man have some dignity. It's just medicine fer crissakes!
