How often do you see these people strolling around with no security?

Watch the vid again, you can pick out at least two guys within the group who don't fit in.

Watch for ear pieces and fat necks.

They had security right next to them.

There is a big difference between
Security and Navy SEALS.
Each have a different objective

It has already been shown in the video
that those people with ear pieces were
dignitaries and NOT security forces.
They keep in contact with those forces
who are security from a distance via
comms.

There's no way they would hire anything less than ex special forces.

The grunts with them would be ex sf too.

Hell Gina Rinehart, who's small fry compared to these guys has ex Australian SAS as security.

based around what kind of opposition
they EXPECTED, not the training their
employees received before they were
employed.

No, not true.
All of the PMC firms hire from the ex-military pool and ex-LEO pool as well. They do not have SF requirements, yet it is desired.
I know because I have had several offers of my own, a relative is a current PMC and several friends are as well. None are ex-SF..

I stand correct on the visual ID
of the dignitary.

I am sure that Govt members will have a attachment or 2 from their Govt provided security, like Secret Service and so on.
The compound security will still have measures in place to provide over all security.

And it turns out that the host country provides security made up of military, the secret service, federal and local police, and private security firms.

So all bases are covered it seems.

Well, yes and no. Securitas as a whole, worldwide does not look to provide the same sort of security detail that is running in the ME as a PMC.
I don't know the current pay scale offering for Securitas, but I do know more money is to be had in the ME, then a security detail in Switzerland.
It depends on the contract arraignment too.
I am not saying that the "snipers" outlined in this thread are has-bins and drop outs, I am just looking at it with my info on Securitas and money.
Someone with say 10 years experience as a LEO SWAT sniper will definitely have a different take on shelters, blinds and spider holes then the counter part from the Military. And pay will adjust as well.
Same goes for concealment, placement, approach and execution of plan. Kind of like comparing a Jeep 4x4 to a Jeep 4x4 set for rock crawling. Both are Jeeps, but one is specialized in an area, while the other just skims the surfaces.

And not trying to be a jerk, I think we can divide these into grouped responsibilities.
Military will more then likely secure the larger scaled arena. Like airport, waterways and airspace.
Secret Service will be attached at the hip to specific person(s), and at rooms/offices that said person(s) occupy.
Federal police will more then likely provide support between Military and Secret Service and will also run the show for investigating threats.
Local police will be on the road, check points and crowd control.
Private security will provide the security for the grounds and events.
