I just came across this. Seems it was taken in Russia on May 28, 2011. This is what it claims in the description:

UFO Transport by Russian Black Military Helicopter captured in Bodaybo with second Spy UFO - Russia 28.May 2011

Now I am not a military person, but I am curious to what they could possibly be carrying? My thought was a tank maybe? Could that kind of chopper lift a tank? Besides it seems just a bit oddly shaped for a tank. I mean sometimes it appears round. I don't know, thought maybe some of our military experts might have a better grasp of what this may be?

I don't even know if it is "Black Military" as it claims. I am just going ny what the original poster has said, so don't hold that against me

It's seems fake to me.

And why would Russian army transport UFO with the helicopter?

Is that make any sense?

If it is a fake, it is very well done!
Strange...

Think about it.. If these governments know about ufo's and are trying to hide it.. They wouldn't fly around carrying a ufo in daylight where people might see..
Sometimes common sense will answer most questions on this subject..

In broad daylight no less! Can't keep a secret that way.

People hiding something don't move it with a helicopter, when they certainly have planes that can move it, with out having any idea

Not to mention the production company that did it has their logo at the beginning.

Mmmm...hard to believe that a helico transports an UFO in public like that. Those things are secret usually.

If that was a real ufo there would be an entire FLEET of helicopters and jets escorting it.

Doesn't look like a fake to me, but I have no idea what they could be transporting. Could be industrial machinery for all we know or a giant lens.

Just curious. Exactly what is it in this video that looks fake to you?

I agree that transporting something like that so out in the open seems silly, but, I do have to ask, do we know how remote this area is? Russia is a pretty big place with lots of open space that is very sparsely populated. Besides the fact that we dont know where they may have retrieved it from. May not have been possible for a plane to get anywhere near it.

The only other thing that Hasn't been answered yet is Just What is it carrying?

The helicopter appears to be a variant of the Mi-8/17 Hip, but I am not 100% sure on that and could be wrong.

Here is info on how much that (at least the civilian version) helicopter can carry:

The helicopters are equipped with an external mount with a maximum weight of 3000 kgs, and also have an on-board winch which can lift weights up to 150 kg.

Source

I can't see one of these lifting any tank, or even a personnel carrier in the Russian arsenal. I still haven't found any solid info on how much they can lift, but they do have the capacity to carry and are used in firefighting.

Edit to add:

No clue what the helicopter is carrying. Maybe some firefighting apparatus?

Hahaha, no. That looks like a Mi 17 or variant, it can lift maybe a humvee. Not a tank, unless its a very very light tank. The Mi 26 would be able to lift much, much more (think lift a Chinook... or two) but its definetly not one of those behemoths.

Thing is, it can be anything. Lots of things are saucershaped. Maybe its carrying a radar dish or something?

Either way, its a hoax. Its just a helo transporting something. Need an explanation? The cheesy music. Its always the cheesy music. I do not believe in ANY video with cheesy music.

Thank you for that. I guess we can rule out the tank possibility then. One down, so many more ideas to go. I don't think the video is fake itself, I am just very curious as to what it might really be carrying. Seems rather odd.

1.28 minutes long and only 8 seconds of apparent footage.

If you only watch between 0:08 and 0:16 a few times, you'll see the movement doesn't seem quite right. Stuff an extra 1:12 of slow-mo and you don't notice it as much.

I'll place my money on CGI.

I know most of us here consider "cheesy music" to be a dead give away, but I don't think that is always the case. I know when I first started posting videos, I thought adding music was the thing to do as it seemed thats just how everyone did it. I learned from being a member here that that isnt really the proper way. I would hate to think some possible good footage is blown off because of cheesy music. Sometimes one does have to look past the unenlightened I would think. Not everybody is a wise and educated ATS member.

I know, but that's just how it is

I visited the page it comes from and funny thing, the first image that I lay my eyes on is the picture of a alien "skull" on a fence in front of a smiling guy. You know, that skull which has been debunked as a warped chop of a regular skull over and over again so much its not even funny anymore.

I am certain that regardless of it being CGI or a video with a helicopter transporting something other than cheesy music, its is hoax. I say hoax because its not a "what is this, a helo transporting a disc?!?!" video, its clearly made as a dead certain that it is one (and the "second" one at that according to the youtube title, whatever the hell that means).

You know a funny thing happend while I took your advice to go back and watch it a few times. I noticed this other object in the slow motion close up at the :58 mark. If you watch it, it actually moves behind and down from the helicopter. Watch from :58 through 1:07, you folks will see it as well.

Relative size of the chopper and its payload is suspect. The disk is huge, yet it appears to just behave like a lead weight despite all this surface area.
