From "news", to music, to even billboards. It's all scripted, fake, edited BS, all of it. take a look at this.

Television is not real.

Nothing we see on the television is based on or presented to us in a realistic setting. Sure, they try really hard to convince us that it’s real, but what is reality? Reality is what we make of it. Reality is the color of the walls in your bedroom; reality is the itch on your back that you just can’t reach; reality, to me, is the notion that marriage is over rated; reality is the fact that I’m not worried about my daughter getting stung by a bee or falling down the stairs, because those things are going to happen; Reality is the fact that I’m actually afraid of when she goes to kindergarten and has to pass her Hello Kitty backpack through a #ing metal detector.
With the exception of The Simpsons, The Sopranos, and good old porn and movies, the main purpose of the television and networks, it seems to have become, is to force us into being bigger, more gluttonous, greedy consumers than we already are. Sure, America is based on capitalism, but when did it become a requirement for me to sit in front of an electrical box and be forced into a decadent mental deterioration that is being brought on by massive psycho-seductive efforts enlisted by multi-national corporations all fighting for dibs on my hard earned money? Every image we see on the television is shown to us in order to convince us that what we see is how it is, and I just am not buying what they’re selling anymore. From what I’ve seen, what they’re telling us just doesn’t add up.
www.turnoffyourtv.com... I recommend you click this link.

Everything that's spoon fed to you from the media has an agenda, money. Not a positive agenda, like wanting to help the greater good, but an agenda consumed by greed. And modern music? It would be one thing if everyone knew it was a joke, but they don't. Some kids actually take Lil Wayne, Nickie Minaj, Drake, etc. seriously, they take them as role models. Modern music distorts some peoples reality into thinking people like these are actually real, that this is their real personality. It's not. To make matters worse the media is EVERY WHERE. Magazines t.v., radios, all filled to the brim with edited fake BS, used to push a corporations product. But theirs a solution, see it for what it is, enjoy living the truth, what you know to be the truth, not what some overplayed mind numbing advertisement says is. Spend time with friends and family, play sports, do something meaningful and positive with your life./ end rant
.

P.S. It's not a crime to listen to main stream music in moderation, just take it for what it is music, don't take it seriously.

I'll leave you with a video to watch:

Nope.

There wasn't a tsunami caused by an earthquake of the coast of Japan.

There sure isn't a nuclear disaster currently in Japan.

There is no such person as M. Gaddafi and the people of Libya live in paradise.

A volcano did not erupt in Chile last week.

The US presidents surname certainly isn't Obama.

Every single person in the USA loves Sarah Palin.

Sometimes, but now I am always so apprehensive, that I rarely trust what's broadcast. I do believe, however, that there are little snippets of truth that are meant as a cue for those who understand them.
I know, I'm about 2 minutes away from Mel Gibson's Conspiracy Theory

Well I live in Canada and am a Television and Media student (27 so I've been around a bit) and actually do news broadcast and have a lot of news related classes and work tightly with the journalism students so my opinion will be based on a bit of my own media.

I believe some of what we're told, mainly the unimportant non global stuff. When it comes to anything political and foreign related I tend to take it with a grain of sand.

The US media is a tad different since they focus less on local topics like our news and feed a lot of propaganda. I always look back to the Fox news staff vs Monsanto and the whole court ruling when I think of news.

Well if they say it's going to 80 degrees - I tend to believe that...but they do spin, censor and even lie at times.

Look at what is happening in Japan - it's being ignored by the MSM. Are they lying? Well not really, because they are just reporting what they are told. Are people being told the truth? If you do your own research probably not.

I'm not skeptical of what the MSM puts out. I am VERY skeptical of the reasons they put certain stories out at certain times and the reasons given in the story of what happened.

Its not what they say on the news but what they DONT say that gives you clues to the real truth. Learn to read between the lines my friend.

From watching Sky news from a good few years back I have came to understand that pretty much everything on the news is just their take on things, but more so recently that everything is staged or fake, from the MTV "fly on the wall" stuff to the "real" Discovery deadliest catch sort of thing.

Look at things but take it with the same pinch of salt that you would do from a guy you don't know in the street telling you something, not quite the new world order but just sensationalist rubbish.

I don't understand this....
"With the exception of The Simpsons, The Sopranos, and good old porn and movies, the main purpose of the television and networks, it seems to have become, is to force us into being bigger, more gluttonous, greedy consumers than we already are."
Why would this garbage be an exception...seems like another person who is not seeing clearly.

Nearly everything is told within a few layers of lies. There are only a few tidbits of truth in there.. perhaps in irrelevant topics. You can be the judge of 'irrelevant'.

Yeah I was just being a smartar$e.

I think that what we do see is rarely doctored or altered. I came from a family of people who work in the media, so I can confirm this with a fair amount of conviction.

However....

I think the issue is what we are not told.

A good example of this would be the Bilderberg conference. I have yet to see the MSM media report on the protest by European politicians who tried to storm the conference the day before yesterday.

You had it right the first time. The only truth you're going to get from the media is whatever will get you to buy into the the lie they're going to tell you next. I have to take a different perspective from it being all about money though. It's about money only to the extent that it is a useable medium to control the masses.

It's about control, groupthink, and a hive mindset. It's about creating social and worldview realities by consensus. It's about getting the masses to agree on what reality is.

It's creating and controlling both sides of the argument for the masses. Thereby controlling the questions, and the answers that ensue.

Consensus Reality

BTW. S&F, and welcome to wonderland.

The media just reported that 20 dead children were found by police after being informed by a psycic! They said on ever report FOUND...the whole time no children were found how can they report something so profoundly untrue. They are supposed to call the police and get a report from authorities before releasing info like this and i really doubt the police said yes we FOUND 20 dead kids in this truckers yard...so the LIED 100 % how can we ever believe anything they say?

I think someone might be trying (not so subtly now) to inform us that the media
are completely untrustworthy and always have been.
Is there a force for good to counter all the well known not-so-good forces?
Media Fakery has dominated the news in the last 10 years and beyond.

It was in the Swiss newspapers.

Someone in here posted a thread on it yesterday.

If you do a search for "Bilderberg Security Assaults EU Member" in your favourite search engine you should be able to find a few links to it.
